I can’t ride at all in late summer due to the gnats and mosquitoes. This outfit looks goofy but I couldn’t care less as I ride happily down the fields again. Excellent product

This is perfect to keep the mosquitoes and horse flies at bay and give my boy and myself time to relax and enjoy our ride instead of swatting steady at those pesky bugs during our ride.

To make it easy to put on and off, I attached small clips to all the ties - now it’s easy to put on and off. I use it My horse seems to understand that the net protects him.

My gelding is allergic to flies and very reactive when they land on bare skin. He will slam to a halt and bite at himself if they land on him while being ridden. The flies have been terrible this year and he's been very upset while being ridden. This riding fly sheet is an absolute game changer!! Made a huge difference!! He can focus again and doesn't get so worried about being bitten. He was a little twitchy where the ties brushed against his skin, so I need to do some fiddling with that, but no big deal! i He is 16.3hh and pretty big boned (warmblood) and this fits fine. No issue with putting it on or taking it off--if a horse can wear a fly sheet or a blanket, this shouldn't be an issue.

Love this fly protector! I had tried another brand, but it would slide to one side/not stay in place. This stays where you put it! The ties are perfect to hold to the saddle and girth for extra security. It won't slide to one side and get lop-sided. Ties are long and strong. My horse is so much happier with this on. I highly recommend!

In July-September the bugs are so relentless and vicious it makes going out for hacks in the field/trail rides miserable for my horse. The GIANT horse flies that land on the horse's spine and deer flies that go for the neck, ears, and mane. My horse loses it when those huge horse flies are around. The Cashel Bug Armor Bundle Set seems a little ridiculous at first, but it offers the horse protection and relief from the bugs so you can enjoy going for rides outside during these buggy months. We went out for a hack for our maiden ride in the sheet and not one twitch. The horse we were with( not wearing the suit) struggled with the bugs biting him but my mare was quiet and happy - she was even happily snorting! Yay!

It really works well except several people I know ordered them and my rump sheet was missing the top ties so I had to sew shoelace onto it otherwise it was slipping back.

AMAZING!! Those HUGE horse flies CAN'T GET TO MY GELDING!!! LOVE the fact that they created it w/ties, so it's easily adjustable & would STAY PUT on ANY size equine! Flies can still get to belly & legs, so I just super-spray his belly & do leg protectors--he DOESN'T get any hotter, cuz it's BREATHABLE & SOFT against his skin. He's 15.1, 1100lbs...& after the first time, it only takes a couple minutes to put on!! I'd pay MORE for this as it's VERY durable, too!! A PERFECT 10, in my book!!

This is perfect for my horse. We went on a 10 mile trail and the netting held up great. I didn't use the neck piece- but did try it on my horse- and it fit great.The butt piece does look a little big at first because it drops down on the sides of him. BUT after riding in it- I really like that part the most. His stomach was being "somewhat" protected as well.The best part was that it didn't shift back and forth. I didn't have people telling me to stop and correct the sheet.I placed the top extra fabric between my saddle pad and saddle to help lock it in place. Worked great.It also had a double lining on the top to really help with those bugs still trying to bite.Overall- awesome buy! Half way through our ride- a friend of mine was considering buying one as well.Ps- my horse did lay in the water with me and the netting on and it still stayed in place. ....yes, he's part fish.

Great for keeping flies at bay on trail rides. However, the ties for the hind piece were attached much too low - would have had to tie them to the girth rather than the saddle. I had to carefully cut them off and reattach them higher up so it could be tied to the saddle itself. That was not a "one off", a friend also ordered this and had the same problem. Once fixed, works great.
