I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I've cut out a few cases in the past. This takes the work out of it. Very pleased with construction of this case. I know it will protect my investment. Perfect for a Ruger Precision Rifle.

I dislike that this case is heavier than the RPR that fits into it. But I like that it is heavy duty and will definitely protect my RPR. I bought it because I wanted my precision rifle in its own case, and that I wanted it to fit into the case fully assembled and ready to shoot, without having to install the bolt, magazine, unfold, etc. But at the same time, there is plenty of room to take out the mag, the bolt, and remove the bipod if I wanted to disassemble.The case has wheels, six clamps, and seems more heavy duty than any Pelican or SKB case I own. The clamps aren't spring loaded where it can pull the clamp back away from the bottom when trying to open the case, preventing it from catching on one of the six, or falling downward when trying to close the lid. But the price difference compared to other high end cases really is attractive. Cobra foam insert alone for a Pelican is more than half of the price of this entire case with custom cutouts. So the low price for this case is fantastic.The foam is a combination of closed cell and open cell foam. I like closed cell myself, since it is much easier to work with than open, and it is more rigid to hold the gun nicely. This is a great case for the money. And will protect your gun much better than a bag.

I purchased this case for my Ruger Precision Rifle, which I have modified with an Ergo extended pistol grip, a front bipod, a rear monopod, and an ATN X-Sight-4k Pro 5X20 with IR light.The foam in this case was precut for various configurations of the RPR, and it was super easy to trim out the pieces for my custom configured rifle using the supplied razor knife. I love that it has precut voids that work the bolt, as well as for both 10- and 20-round mags. Bonus, it also has a pre-cut location for a pistol and two pistol mags. The cutout was PERFECT for my Ruger RP45.The case itself is fantastic, high quality handles, clamps, and wheels. I am very pleased with this purchase and will consider other cases from Case Club for other firearms.

I recently received my Precision Rifle Case from CaseClub. It is a great case and a great value. I had a minor issue with one of the locks, but it was a minor issue to me as I planned on using padlocks most of the time. The overall quality of the case was still impressive to me, and It will be a great home for my Ruger Precision Rifle.I contacted Case Club Service and their support team was quick to respond with a solution for me.While we all hope to never need to use customer support I believe it really defines a company. This is a really solid and durable case. I am totally happy with it. We travel on planes a lot and needed a tough case that can handle the abuse the airlines put them through. At least as tough as our Pelican cases and also made in the US. Loved the foam separations which made adding the rifle and accessories really easy.

This case is well constructed and will protect your rifle. Plenty of room for extra mags or other parts. The cutouts are very good and easy to trim to fit your specific rifle.

A really nice case. Foam has cuts in it for typical items like magazines, scopes of varying sizes, bipod, monopod. Most are hard to see, you have to push/pull the foam to see them. There is along razor shipping knife to make custom cuts.A small plastic box for small items is a nice touch. Perfect for batteries, Allen keys, small tools, and accessories. The Silica Gel can is reusable. Directions are included on how to heat it up in the oven to dry it out for re-use.I put a Ruger Precision Rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor in it. As I added a scope, bipod, monopod, extra mags I pulled out foam bits and it fit. I did some minor cuts to get a perfect fit.The case is 100% full of foam, its cut in the shape of the RPR with cuts for scopes and other accessories. You pull out what you need to fit your gear. I saved the foam pieces I took out in case I ever change the configuration. Figure I can glue them back in. I did this when I changed scopes recently and it looks perfect.If you don't save your foam, or make many mods over time, you can peel/rip the foam off and scrape anything left down to the plastic if needed. Then buy foam from the hobby store or Amazon, cut and glue it down again.It fits without having to fold the stock, which is something I wanted to avoid. It is deep enough to store with the stock folded if you need the surface space.The wheels are good for hard floors. So-so on asphalt as they are solid hard plastic and small in diameter. The RPR is heavy to begin with, more so in a hard case and after adding accessories.Being able to wheel instead of carrying it is more useful than I thought it would be. It has two key locks built into the handles and you can add padlocks to it as well.I highly recommend this case for big heavy guns like the RPR.
