This unit looks great and has what looks like an OEM sticker. My first opportunity to try it was past the return window, and it is 100% DOA. The led turns on when plugged into a DC outlet, but the power doesn't go to the radio. I've checked continuity and nothing is coming from the plug to the battery simulator portion. Totally useless except as a pretty movie prop. DO NOT BUY - especially if you hope to rely on this for emergency communications as I did.

This is great for the long haul when your in car. And don't need to charge your batts. It saves my back up batts.
