For some reason our family decided that we were hard core hikers and all needed to purchase hydration packs. So, we bought 3 different types and the camelbak really sets itself apart from the 2 other generic ones. First of all, it’s sturdy, easy to clean, easy to fill, and the tube doesn’t take forever to dry out like the other ones. Totally worth the money and it was a prime day deal so score!

I’ve been using the CamelBak Crux 2-Liter Water Reservoir for a while now, and it’s a game-changer for long hikes, fishing trips, and even just working out in the field. The 2-liter capacity gives me plenty of water to stay hydrated without weighing me down. The Crux design makes it easy to drink from—no need to stop and unscrew a cap, just bite down on the valve and go. It’s leak-proof, so I don’t have to worry about any spills in my pack. If you’re looking for a reliable hydration bladder that’s built to last and keeps you going all day, this is a solid choice.

I bought this to replace a 2L bladder that came with my Camelbak from 2016, and I didn't quite realize what the difference was until I was using it in action. The long plastic "tongue" makes it so much easier to angle the bladder towards the water source. The opening is also quite larger than the previous model, which is both a pro and a con. I feel like the bigger opening doesn't allow as much water to be stored unless you really care to angle it properly. I like that it was easier to let water out of the "straw" to clean out old water, and overall, I thought this definitely tasted less like plastic than my old one, which is a good sign I'm replacing it!

I love this Camel back insert. I don't own a camel back bag and needed a new "water" bag because the one I bought leaked, so I bought this and it fit perfectly in my bag. The leak proof nozzle is great.

I purchased this to hang off the top of a loft bed that I converted into a desk underneath. Mid-gaming binge hydration has never been easier, plus with the gravity it even has a decent flow to it. Pretty sure I'm gonna be one of like 5 people ever to buy a CamelBak for this exact reason. But hey if anyone else is looking to release their inner hamster and drink from a hanging tube, this works great (though a bigger bladder might also be a good idea for those of the thirstier variety) By the way, this makes the water taste about the same as the water in one of those cheap kiddie pools you get for 25 bucks at a dollar store during the summer. If you hate that taste, turn away. If you're looking for that nostalgic flavor of freshly hose-filled, microplastic-laden pool water, this is the way.

以前はmont-bellせいのものを使っていました。mont-bellセイより柔軟性有りで、挿入口が、大きので、入れ易い広告宣伝通り耐久性は、抜群です。ゴム臭さが無ければですが、使用回数が、多くなると少し解消します。

Works really well. The shut off valve is a nice touch and the mouth piece is easy to drink from. I also reached out to Camelbak for some support and their customer service is excellent.

I bought this product after reading mostly positive reviews - but some reviews said it leaked, it was hard to fill completely and the water tasted bad. The only problem I had with leaking was the one time I didn't get the cap on right. However, I always turn it upside down before putting it in my bag to check for leaks. There's a trick to getting the cap on correctly: when you put the cap on first spin it slowly counter-clockwise like you're unscrewing it until you click a "click." That sound is the threads engaging and lining up. Then screw it clockwise and tighten as normal. I agree that it shouldn't require a "trick" but once I figured this out I can quickly and easily get the cap on correctly. The hose connects with a solid "click" and I've had no leaks from that connection. The second issue I've seen in reviews is that it's hard to completely fill, and this is true if you try to get every last drop possible in it. However, I questioned how much water this actually holds so I completely filled the reservoir and poured it out into my 2 liter measuring cup. It held about 2.2 liters. So it is hard to put 2.2 liters into a 2 liter reservoir, but it's easy to fill to the 2L advertised capacity. The other issue is the taste, and if you put water in it brand new without cleaning it, it will taste like rubber. So I washed mine with warm water and a little dish soap (and ran some through the tube) and thoroughly rinsed it. I spent 10 minutes doing this 1 time and the water tasted completely normal after that. If you leave water in it for over 24 hours (especially if partially filled) then you'll get a slight aftertaste. If you're looking to store water for several days without any change in taste, then this product probably isn't for you.Two things that would make this better are to include a sleeve option for the tube. I've got a green/brown bag and the bright blue tube just doesn't look good against it. Also the hook at the top of the reservoir (used to hang inside your bag) is shaped like a T and that works great in my bag, but my wife's bag has a velcro loop. To secure it in her bag we'll have to rig a string through the T hook and the loop in the bag. Finally, check the dimensions before ordering your size. The measurements showed it would be a tight fit in my bag and it is, but it works fine and I'm glad I got the larger size. The measurements in the specs are accurate with the bag full of water. Bottom line, I liked this enough to buy one for my wife.

Overall, I like this water bladder. It's got a unique design that helps you hold and fill it easily. Unfortunately, it's biggest strength is also one of it's weaknesses. The handle offers a very convenient way of holding the bag while filling, but the cap cannot be screwed back on while you're holding the handle. I believe some of the trouble is that when you fill it very full, the mouth of the bladder flexes with the weight of the water and prevents the cap from closing properly. You have to do a little acrobatics with the actual bladder and angle the mouth just right so that the cap will close properly. I've had a few surprises because of this flaw.I still think it's a great bladder. Once you figure out how to hold the bladder and close the cap, it works great. The handle just needs some refinement, maybe using a stronger material so that the mouth doesn't flex when the bladder is full.
