This was a great product, unfortunately I didn't think about the fact that my cat would find it a perfectly fit chew toy. Did not stand up to however hard he was biting. Fit well in my backpack though!

I bought this to drop into a regular backpack, and it works very well. I haven't had a new Camelbak in over a decade and I love the new design. It's easy to fill, easy to attach and detach the tubing, and easy to clean. I'm also a fan of the new 45 degree bite valve. I purchased a valve cover separately and it was easy to install. Works flawlessly, no leaks. I do recommend turning the lid gently to the left until you feel it seat into the threads, and then turn right to close. This guarantees a leak-free seal every time.

I have used a regular 3L bag for over 5 years and just purchased the lumbar version recently for a different style pack. These bags hold up well, clean easy and are great for backpacking.

Bought this as my hiking pack did not come with a reservoir. Liked the shape of this as it would fit down inside the pocket inside the pack and not stick up. Purposely bought a brand name (at a higher price) vs. some of the other reservoirs for sale because you don’t want to mess around with your water supply in the back country.Problem is - it leaks from the bottom of the screw cap right where the handle is. I followed the tutorial on Camelbak website, counter clockwise turn until click, then clockwise to firmly seal. Nope. Steady drip from the bottom of the screw cap where the handle is.I’m returning it. Not even going to bother with another Camelbak. Going to try a Gregory.

Tiene que estár bien seco el empaque antes de cerrarlo de otra manera tendrás pequeñas filtraciones y cerrarlo muy con mucha fuerza, y al abrirlo es lo mismo ocupas fuerza para abrirlo de lo contrario lo mismo filtraciones! Lo bueno esque no tiene sabor a plástico, pero se puede hacer funcionar! Ahora lo lleno lo dejo ahí un rato para ver si no tiene filtraciones y está bien cerrado y si todo está bien. I have an older Kelty external frame pack that has a reservoir space. The issue? The reservoir space is for a horizontal hydration pack. I was able to fill this hydration pack up to 3L and it fit perfectly in the space in my pack. No leaks, and I love the on/off lever by the bite valve. I can use this in my Camelbak Mule daypack, but I can't fill the hydration pack up all the way for it to fit (too wide, as expected). I'm happy with this hydration pack for how I need to use it and it is a good quality product.

Passt bei mir super in meinen Alice-Pack Rucksack.In Kombination mit einem sawyer mini ist es auch ein gutes Wasser Aufbereitungssystem für längere outdoor Wanderungen.Es gibt auch eine robustere Army-Variante, jedoch ist diese teurer und bisher hat meine gut gehalten.

Purchased this for my daughters pack, she has a smaller one for shorter hikes. I have one in my pack as well. I love the lumbar fit on this model, the water can get heavy when full but necessary on long hikes. Great taste, didn’t notice sloshing and the straw provides a good amount of water.
