Good quality end mill. I only needed this for cutting one slot so I haven't put its durability to the test, but it seems well made and gave a nice surface finish. Wouldn't hesitate to buy more Niagara brand tools.

I like the cuts it made before it broke, which gives it 1 star. It broke after only a couple uses. I was making shallow cuts in birch wood at average speeds on my CNC. Bit broke in 2 places on the shaft. I don't see any information about a warranty. If seller decides to replace I would adjust my review.

I like this bit. I use it in my Shaper Origin CNC router. Seems to work better than the ones from the router manufacturer (and less expensive). I am planning on getting another so that I'll have a spare. I don't really know about durability yet. Haven't had it long enough. It doesn't cut quite as well as when it was brand new, so it will eventually wear out. I just don't know how long it will take.

Does its job, i usually run 1/4" depth cuts at 80-90ipm on this one.

This is a nicely made tool but is brittle. I needed to bottom out some drilled holes for replacing a door hinge on a Chevy pickup (the holes are extremely hard to drill). The hinges are spot welded to the frame. I drilled through the hinge to the frame with a cobalt drill and then used this bit to finish up the hole (the idea is not to drill through the frame at this diameter). The cutter lost a few chunks here and there but it did finish the job. Four holes.

SUPERLATIVE QUALITY!!! But (laugh at me):SADLY (just testing the idea), this is NOT a drill bit, I.E., it doesn't have a conical POINT to hold it steady. It is meant for a MILL.The idea of a precision carbide drill bit that could cut metal drew me to the flame with its allure. It has 4 points around the tip to cut with.So cool. So close. Sigh...

I use the 1/4 inch 4 flute bit for cutting gator board and ultra board on a cnc. Running 250 inches per minute+ with a perfect cut. More than twice as fast as the 2 flute bits we use.
