complete fail after 6 mo, water comes through the threads & was costly to install the 1st time. Not worth the money when it has to be replaced twice. DO NOT BUY

Install was easy enough and it seemed to function well. However, approximately 2 weeks after being installed and only minimal usage, water started leaking heavily out of the top of the valve and couldn't be adjusted. On its own, without even being depressed for a flush, the valve began leaking. It overfilled the tank and water flooded the bathroom. Thank goodness we were home when it happened and were able to turn off the angle stop and mitigate any potential damage. Ended up buying the actual brand/OEM replacement part. Unfortunately, its not eligible for return/refund since the 'return window' closed just a couple days before this defective valve began leaking. Buyer BEWARE!

My flushmate was having in-complete flushes for quite some time. Thought it was a clog but my plumber recommended replacing this. This was a perfect fit, and easy install. Fixed the issue immediately. Highly recommend

I just followed the manual so RTFM (read the factory manual) after a few turns and tries the toilet stopped running. pretty much you start screwing the valve into the flushometer, then you open the toilet shut off and keep turning the valve until it pressurizes. I has to do it like 2 times to get it to work and now the toilet works normal. I'm going to check how long it takes until this needs to be replaced but good product overall

Edit: As karma would have it, the day after I write this review, the cartridge has issues and water is flooding through and over it causing a leak under my toilet. Had to shut the water off and decided to re-order the official OEM part. So much for this experiment, and outside my return window. My flushmate was having issues where after flushing, the water refill wouldn't stop until I fidgeted around w/ the cartridge. Eventually started looking around for a replacement cartridge. Looking at the manufacturer's website, it was fairly pricey so off to Amazon to search for an alternative when I ran into this. Was priced better so I gave it a shot.Installation was straight forward just following the instructions. You use the end of your pliers to tighten it as instructed until you stopped hearing the water filling. All worked well for about 2-3 weeks when the problem started happening again. Again, the water would only stop after fidgeting with the cartridge. Luckly it happened in less than a month where I had the opportunity to file a replacement with Amazon.Replaced the replacement and everything has been working for the past few months so this is great. Again, just lucky enough I was able to get the replacement replaced within the right amount of time, which is why I docked 1 star. Otherwise, I would recommend this replacement cartridge over the official one.

When you install this, you can NOT just screw it in all the way. Water drainage won't stop if you do that. You have to run the water in, then, as the water keep running, you start screw this filter in. When you screw in about the righ height. Start screw in 90 degrees, then watch the water if it stops, if not, screw in additional 90 degrees again, then check the water to see if it stops. At a certain point, the water will completely stop. You have to find that point.
