I needed a simple way to get up on my flat deck truck and between humming and hawing if I would be better off making something from scratch or this I chose this and I’m glad I did. Install was simple as it bolted right up to my side rails and the ladder fits up and rests on the frame so the back won’t fall down. I then drilled an and ran a pin through the ladder and the mounting bracket so it stops it from sliding out while driving and easy to pull the pin and pull out when I need it . Going to be ordering another one so I have one on each side to get up on the deck simple

locks in tightly under my flatbed, with a bit of forethought on placement it is problem free. I added a large hook secured with bolt and rubber grommet to keep the hook in place and prevent the ladder from deploying while driving. Ive forgotten to stow away the ladder and drove with it deployed. It doesnt pose much if any risk to anything. Also does not rattle even when driving down bumpy dirt roads. For 100 bucks this is a must have tool for anyone with a higher than stock flatbed.. ill get some pics of the ladder hook for those who want to easily secure their ladder. Its really just a preventative measure for peace of mind. When installed properly you wont need it.

I welded it under the bed. As others have said it's up to you to figure how you want to secure it when stowed. Sturdy little ladder, would buy again.

We have purchased this ladder a few times. It gets mounted to the short flatbeds of some of our work trucks. It works great and is very sturdy. It lasts years through rough weather including salt and sanding during the winter months.

I recently put a flat bed on my pickup and added these stairs on passenger side . They are the slickest thing , getting me up and into the bed . I just hope over the years they operate the same .

Could use a means of supporting the ladder horizontal when in the stowed position as well as a means of locking it in place when stowed but in all very well constructed.

Just as described. Easy installation. Great product so far. I would definitely buy again if needed. You do have to fabricate a bracket to hold the ladder up but that is easy.

Well built and easy to install. Had to fab a bar under the steps when retracted because truck didn’t have a pocket to install. Overall good product. Wish it stuck out from the rear of the truck a little more so it was easier to see when climbing down. This might just be the truck its mounted on though. International 4300 squirt boom bucket truck. Still works good though.
