Works perfectly as a Scout Scope on my vintage WWII M1 Garand, excellent eye relief. Also: Search Amazon for M1 Garand Forward Scout Scope Mount by Amega Ranges. Excellent paired solution for scope and mount. Very solid fit.

Bought this for my S&W PC 10.5" 460xvr, and I was hoping to get a little more eye relief than it provides at mid/high magnification.I have short arms for a guy - I would have been rubbish as a boxer, but even I can't use this on anything over 3x. Anything over that power it basically closes right up on you.At 7x I'd have to be so close that the pistol would merge the scope with my skull after the shot.I guess I'm keeping it though, because there's no fixed power offering in the ballistic plex, which is something I wanted. I basically had to pay $120 extra for the reticle and im limited to a realistic 2.5x though... which really sucks.I just hope it holds up, since there's another review saying the 460 recoil broke the internals on his.Either way, I didn't want to spend the extra $250 for the Leupold variant when they both are similarly clear, and offer the same warranty. I'll just cross my fingers.I can't fault it on stars though, because when I read the specs it does specify the same'ish eye relief range I'm seeing in person. It just feels like it falls off faster after 3x than I hoped as it's getting to the ridiculously short eye relief at max power.

Put this on a cva 350 legend pistol. Zeroed in at 100 yards, will hit out to 175 with no elevation. The first crosshair mark hits 200 yards dead on. Holds 0 and clarity is great I keep it at power 3 so there is a clear sight picture thru the scope, harder to see target when it’s set on higher power but for 200 yards power level 3 is all that is needed.

Like the scope alot. Mounted on my FA .454. Very disapointed when opening the box, found one of the turret caps loose in the box and bent unuseable. Never found that problem before. Scope was not in plastic sleeve either. Think it had been opened before. Maybe a returned item although said it was new.

I bought this to put on a Ruger Mark III target pistol. I used Warne low mount rings. The scope was easy to mount and to sight in. It holds zero perfectly. The pistol has a 2.5# Volquartsen trigger on it. I am touching holes on a 10 round mag at 25 yards. This long eye relief scope costs more than many you can find, but when it comes to firearms optics, you definitely pay for what you get. Plus, these are US made and have an awesome warranty. If you want to hit what you are aiming at every time, mount this on your pistol.
