I bought this to use in a drill chuck on my wood lathe.The only modification I made was to drill a centre in the end so I could add tail stock support.It works perfectly and I plan on buying more as I want a few different mops for different polishing compounds.Highly recommended.

The product states the mandrel will work with hand drill, however it did not work well with my drill. The nut loosens and the grind wheel free spins, when the drill spins. The nut was tightened with over 10ft-lbs. Unfortunate.

Well made but NOT 3/8" the shaft is 11 mm and the flange washer fit VERY lose around around that.
