I like being able to toss these on my grinder instead of switching to a buffing wheel on my bench grinder. They do make a bit of a mess with dust but are dense and durable. Fitment is spot on and they run true. I don’t think this is something that harbor freight carries, they just have the drill attachments which aren’t good enough to polish quickly. Would recommend, handy to have.

Well made wool pads. Great for finishing work. they hold up great as well. Used them on high speed and had no issues. they cut through nicely.

They fit well but do generate some friction and heat so try on a small area before using it on your larger project.Used them on a Ryobi cordless angle grinder.

I ordered these polishing discs to add to my set of tools for polishing car headlights and general automotive use. I have a range of car polishing tools, from light-duty foam pads that attach to a drill... to heavy-duty, high-speed buffers. These polishing discs that attach to a grinder fall somewhere in the middle. There are times when I need to polish out a small scuff or scratch in places where the buffer won't fit, and yet I need something heavier than a foam pad. That's where these polishing discs work very well. Longevity is to be determined, but so far, they are working exactly as intended and I am satisfied with the durability/performance.

Be careful with warping when using these solid style wool felt pads thin metals, as the heat can warp the panel. I'm using a comination of mag polish and flitz to bring some aluminum parts to a shine. I can get in to medium complexity places that a bigger buffing wheel can't, but I still need a cone style polisher to get in the small crevaces or odd angles. These turn black pretty much instantly, I'm not sure if they can be washed. Also while they might be rated to spin pretty fast, it's best to use these on a speed-adjustable grinder, not at max speed.FYI The wheels that have a little flap to them instead of the solid disk seemed to not heat up as much.

While not the largest polishing wheels they're excellent for smaller jobs no larger than a square foot or so. They fit onto your grinder just like any other wheel and spin like any other. Put a little polishing compound on for a mirror finish.ABARPRO 4.5" x 7/8" Wool Felt Polishing Wheel Disc for Angle Grinder, Wool Buffing Wheel Pad for Polishing Rough Surface to a Mirror Finish, for Metal Aluminum Marble Wood, 5 Pack

I use these to clean or polish flat surfaces using a polishing compound, such as headlights. You would never use these dry, I don't see the point. But when you use something with them, they work well. If you haven't used them before, they're quite firm, and very mildly abrasive. They won't normally scratch. I will say that the price per discs does seem a little on the higher side for these, but there's nothing to criticize with the discs themselves. On the positive side, the discs have a fiberglass base, and not plastic like the alternatives. They're good quality, I'd get them again.
