Your cart is empty.The Flex-Hone tool is a surface refinishing tool that will is used to refinish and restore cylinder bores. The surface finish is dependant on the grit used. The tool is used for applications like engine rebuilding, hydraulic cylinders, brake rebuilding and general machining operations. Flex-Hone Tool can be used with honing oil or engine oil. If honing hydraulic cylinders use the intended hydraulic fluid for the lubricant.

I used this on a Zev Tech pistol barrel, the tolerances on that barrel were a bit tight for my liking. Some cheaper ammo would occasionally fail to go into battery and get stuck in the chamber, locking up the whole gun with a live round in the chamber. This brush very gradually removes material, so you can hone the barrel just as much as is needed to accommodate rounds with slightly less consistent tolerance, such as reloads. I had set aside a bunch of rounds that previously failed to chamber and test-fit them as I removed material, and one by one they started to seat properly until I no longer had lock-up issues.

My 9 mm Taurus wouldn't reliably feed ammo fully into battery. This brush in a variable-speed drill, with a little Brasso metal polish, put a mirror finish on my chamber and cartridges go in and out without a hiccup. It takes just a few seconds at moderate speed. On a pistol whose barrel hasn't been cleaned in a while, this would work with bore cleaner to make it like new. It saves a lot of elbow grease.

Honed the chamber on my Kimber Micro9. Stopped brass from jamming after first try.I used a hand drill with no problems.
