I purchased these for my Broilmaster P4 Grill. They were poorly packaged and two of the ceramic plates are cracked. Also they do not completely cover the briquette rack; there's about a one to two inch gap around the outside. The gap causes uneven cooking heat, I still get flare ups around perimeter, and the ceramic plates shift when I move my grill.

Fits the grill perfectly. Unlike other brands with small tiles or briquettes, the large size makes it easy to lay out tiles. Helps to prevent flare ups, but allows ample heat to flow up to grates. Well worth the cost. I've had them before and they last for a few years even though my grill sits outdoors all winter. Will buy again. Make sure you pick the right size for your grill. P3 fits a larger Broilmaster grill. P4 fits its smaller brother.

This beat my expectations! No more flare-ups. Was skeptical when it was time to replace the lava rocks, but made the decision to spend the extra money and was glad I did. I highly recommend the flare buster ceramics.

Arrived on time for 1star. Otherwise , might as well burnt my money with the fire these started in my BBQ. 4 of the tiles were broken at shipment but had enough to try anyway. They are very brittle. Should have sent them back right away. Live & learn!

One of the tiles was cracked in half and one tile was a different size. At that price I thought that one box would be enough however, I will need almost one full box to finish lining my grill and its a standard size.

I bought these in the spring and have used them all summer, so now I can write and honest review. Previously, I had the briquettes and they did a good job for a few years, but then I noticed the ones over the hottest part of the burner were really starting to deteriorate. I replaced these with the ceramics and I'm glad I did. Not only do they help reduce flare-ups, but being ceramic, they retain heat incredibly well, and can increase the overall temp in your grill when you keep the lid down. So much so that I can cook with the grill slightly turned down from where I normally would keep it. That took a bit of getting used to, but it is not a complaint in the least. It just means when you want your grill super hot, you can get it super hot. Mine is hooked up to our natural gas line, which already burns hotter than propane anyways.I grill several times a week, and I have little doubt that these will last for years. Nothing last forever of course, and when I do need a new set, I'll get these again in a heartbeat.

I selected these tiles over ceramic briquettes because they're easier to flip for cleaning. This was the first time I had tried these and I recommend them. I turn them over every couple of months. I have had an occasional flair up when the fat content was high and I'd left it on high heat. But there have only been a few flare ups and I had them frequently when using the ceramic briquettes. I'll use these tiles in the future when I need them.
