While I do like pale yellow colors, I had thought this shade sail would be more of a neutral beige. It changes my initial plans of where I would hang it. The quality seems okay, but I have not bought shade cloth before so I have nothing to compare it to. The included tote bag is actually a touch I wasn't expecting, so that is great for storage! The main selling point of this listing for me was the included string lights. I am a big fan of outdoor lights, so being able to clip them easily onto the shade sail is a great feature. I just haven't been able to install them yet because I still have to figure out where to hang it for best effect. For this reason, I cannot attest to the heat/shade reduction yet, but I hope it will do the job I need it to. I will update later on if there is any problem, since this is not an inexpensive item to begin with.

This shade is made of sturdy material that was easy to set up between a roof and gazebo. It has held up well against wind and rain. The loops for attaching the lights are cloth and seem strong, but unfortunately I don't have an outlet near the shade to use the lights. The color and material allows plenty of brightness while still providing shade.

This shade is perfect for camping or night time BBQs, the lights are bright and held a charge late into the night , it is easy to put up ,the color has not faded from the sun , the shade is double stitched with metal reinforced rings to hold fast in breezy conditions, well worth the money.

Came without the lights! Pretty much the whole reason why I bought this! A replacement for some reason it’s not an option!

The Brillihood Sun Shade Sail with LED G40 String Lights, 8' x12' Rectangle Beige Shade Cloth seems to be a bit lacking in the materials department. The fabric is so thin, in my opinion, it hardly qualifies as a "shade".This Sun Shade Sail does NOT come with any hardware at all, it states that in the description. I didn't realize that finding the correct hardware was going to be quite this difficult. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get the Sun Shade Sail set up this year. If, for some reason, this item miraculously outperforms my expectations once set up, I will edit my review. Until then, it stands at a 3 Star just because of the quality of the material used. I would not recommend this product.

This is a good, sturdy sun-blocking shade. Living in central Texas, any way to dd shade is good, and this was bought to create a shady spot for my dogs for those times during the summer when they can't stand being in the house any longer. It's nice and heavy, the lights, while not needed for my application, are a really nice touch. But I missed that it isn't water-blocking, so while it works great for shade it doesn't block rain as i had hoped. My bad, nothing against the product.

So after hurricane Milton I finally had the opportunity to install this above my gazebo as a sunshade light set.The install was easy really. This was due mostly to the quality of the shade itself. It is made of a sunbrella like material that looks fairly durable and each corner is reinforced and has a d ring to attach the cord too. I simply stretched it out over the roof beams of the pergola and centered it up and tied it off.I made the mistake of trying to install the lights after placing on top of it so that was a bit hard better instructions would have helped me avoid this error but as it was I finished in less than 1 hour. At least for now I’ve a nice place to sit out of the Florida sun. The lights are pretty dim but add enough light to visit by underneath.Biggest question I’ve still got is how it handles the weather, sun and storms here in Florida but only more time will tell. It ticked all the boxes I expected for a durable product on inspection so now we enjoy it and see.
