I purchased this mixer (2) weeks ago and so far have used it about ( 6) times. It working exactly as described, runs so smooth and easy to use. Beater speeds are slow enough on low, to prevent splatter and the higher speeds, whip cream beautifully. Delivery was very slow, but was definitely worth the wait.

Not made in China. Easy to use, great power when you need it including turbo boost. I love this hand mixer, and I've tried a few!

I like the build quality and the motor is really strong. I've had this for a few months now and it feels like it'll last years.

This is actually and excellent product so far (after about 3 months). It is easy to hold and entirely reliable. My only caveat is that the wire beaters are angle - not round. They therefore don't match the shape of any mixing bowl, resulting in a lot of banging noise against the bowl when in use. There may be an engineering reason for this shape, but I prefer the ordinary round profile wire beaters.

Great product, easy to use. Love the slow start setting so you are not spraying the batter/icing everywhere. Handles thicker doughs well and is easy to clean/store. Not bulky in the hands and the weight is just right for me.

I have read through several of the reviews with many concerned about the plastic inserts on the beaters and dough hooks. I can tell you from experience that the plastic inserts will outlast the mixer. I just replaced my Braun Multimix 280 watt hand mixer that I bought in 2002 and used regularly to mix cake batter, frosting, potatos, and pizza dough etc. The motor on the 280 watt mixer finally gave out and the beaters and dough hooks from this 20 year old mixer are identical to those that came with my new Braun 350 watt Multimix 5 hand mixer. I intend to use these 20 year old beaters and hooks with the new mixer and keep the new beaters and hooks packaged in the storage bag. In fact the 20 year old mixer came with the vegatable chopper that I never used and the smoothie blender that may have been used 3 times to whip the lumps out of gravy. Both these accessories do not fit my new mixer and I wish they did. If you are having apprehensions about buying this mixer, it is the best mixer I have ever had and in 20 years when my Multimix 5 wears out I will buy another Braun without thinking twice. I used my new Multimix 5 with the old beaters the other day to mix a cake and to whip up potatos for dinner and it worked flawlessly. Don't be afraid of purchasing this mixer, it will serve you well. One more thing this Braun multimix 5 handmixer is not loud and noisy like others have reported. Very quiet and very easy to handle with the rubber grips.

This hand-mixer replaced my 20+-year old mixer. I needed one with dough hooks, which many mixers no longer offer. When the Braun arrived I was initially surprised about its weight and size, until I used it for the first time. The top-weight makes it easy to mix things in the bowl. the machine leans into the bowl, making it so that it barely needs any strength to hold. One thing I was very concerned about was the length of the attachment shanks. Some mixers have very short whisks and hooks, meaning, if you have a deeper vessel, i.e. I use for whipping cream, they don't hit the bottom area. This one does. It also stands easily on its back between tasks. I did not want a digital mixer, just a plain old mechanical one, and thought my old 3-speed would suffice. oh, was I wrong. I absolutely love the 9-speed-dial on my new Braun. at level 1 I can easily mix flour and liquid in a regular sized bowl without dusting my entire kitchen, The seamless transition to higher speeds comes in so handy when mixing , i.e. egg whites. Starting out on level 1 and transitioning into higher levels as they are frothing is such an asset. the design of the beaters are such that they are excellent for whipping cream, egg whites, etc. No balloon whisk needed. Love the squared off bottoms of the beaters. That makes the contact with the mixing bowl not such a noisy affair. The design of the beaters has an additional bonus. When you gently lift the hand mixer out of your cake batter for example, the batter slowly rotates to the bottom of the bowl from the beaters rather that splattering all around the bowl. So, my initial concerns when unboxing have turned into "why did I wait so long to upgrade." I have this product for a week now and have used it more than my old one. I mixed a 1.5 lbs loaf of bread, no sweat. No need to use the bulky stand mixer for all those smaller jobs anymore.I tested the ejection capabilities of the attachments and find them to be very powerful. Last but not least, this mixer comes with a 3-year guarantee, while most others are governed by just one. Just love German engineering.

Excellent product! Super easy to hold as the weight is taken off your hands, which is fantastic for long jobs. I was nervous about it having no whisk seeing as I do a lot with egg whites but it works better than any other hand mixer I’ve used. The slow setting is actually slow which is rare, even among other high-end hand mixers. I don’t make a mess with flour anymore. And the speed is easily adjustable with the same hand I hold it with. Perhaps someone with exceptionally small hands may have a hard time reaching the dial with there thumb, but I have no issue whatsoever. There is actually an eject button, which I appreciate. I hate the hand mixers without the eject button as I find the beaters to fall out too often. It also sits up easily on its rear end so the beaters don’t have to touch the counter when you want to put it down (which for me, being a neat freak is a big deal). Far less of a mess.My only very minor critique: I wish the speed was slightly faster. But, it has so much power and the beater is so well shaped it hardly matters. It still outdoes the competition for getting egg whites to stiff peaks and doing heavier doughs. The beaters are nice and sturdy as well. They will plow through heavy doughs easily.I love the mixer. I would easily buy it over Cuisinart or KitchenAid every time!
