About this item

  • CORDLESS FLEXIBILITY: Mix anywhere anytime, from standing at your kitchen island to sitting at the breakfast table. You'll never have a cord in your way and there's no need to plug into an electrical outlet as you mix.
  • MAXIMUM CONTROL WITH INFINITE SPEED DIAL: A turn of the dial lets you easily change between speeds. Start mixing on the slowest speed and rotate the dial higher as needed. The LCD screen provides instant feedback for every speed change.
  • QUICK RECHARGING: Mix up to 1 hour or 600 cookies on a full charge. A quick 10 minute charge provides enough run time for a batch of cookies (approx. 5 minutes). The battery indicator light and LCD screen show you the battery level at a glance.
  • POWERFUL DC MOTOR: Take on everything from fluffy whipped cream to creamy mashed potatoes with this Hamilton Beach hand mixer. The DC motor maintains constant speed and torque for effortless mixing.
  • LESS SPLATTER WITH SLOW START TECHNOLOGY: Prevent clouds of flour or splatters of batter by starting slow. This cordless hand mixer's starting speed is nearly half as slow as a traditional mixer, so you'll have less mess.

The Hamilton Beach® Professional Cordless Hand Mixer with Infinite Speed Control gives you cordless flexibility, and its infinite speed dial provides maximum mixing control. Includes 2 wire beaters, whisk, snap-on storage case and charging cord.

Seems this is a known issue but it will no longer hold a charge. Had to go through the manufacturer to get a replacement and that is taking forever. It does have a year warranty but why bother when you get to use it 3x before it decides it doesn't function anymore? Buy a cordless drill.. insert a whisk attachment and save yourself the time and hassle.

The journey started with my 1940's HB mixet start to run louder and slower. nor whipping my spuds. Not wanting to totally kill it I started looking at hand mixers. I have tested a Breville handy mix, Kitchen aid corded 9 speed(still have and love), their cordless and a no name cordless, HB pro corded (nice but needs 2 whisks) . First the POZ. It blows away the others I have tried in power and battery life. Even the corded mixers I tryed had less power. Its a little chunky but managable as I am elderly and disabled. Its weight is on the lighter side. I used my KA Pro 5 to make some oatmeal cookie dough then took to the dough with the HB cordless. It plowed through the dough so well at half speed, I decided to really test it and give it full power. (total abuse). It has so much power my wriste aches now and I almost could not hold on to it as it plouwed through the very thick dough, so the low power issue in other adds is not valid. The mixer also is fast enough to make whipping cream using 2 whisks not one in very short order like 90 seconds its time to stop and mix in the sugar and van.THis mixer makes a gear noise when in use and is louder with speed and load, so whats that about ? being a retired mechanic,I have really had a hard time not opening it up and seeing why? Heres my take on it.. So most all mixers have plastic gears. well the harder the gears rather plastic or other wise the louder they can be. So I would rather hear my mixers hard and durable gears then soft quiet gears..Look people when the mixer hits the dough this one will mix it up for you, and with a 5 YEAR WARRANTY many will be complaining about the noise for quite some time as HB is known for quality (and some faulty like all manufacturers) products.I have taken some white lithium grease and sprayed it in the beater holes and it became quieter.(warranty void?)also after the cookie dough it became quieter so I think it will become quieter after a few batches of cookies.I noticed that this mixer is as easy to use its controls with my right hand as well as my left. Yes it has a extra step of turning on the main power on the side, then press the thumb control turn it on and spin the dial for speed. It is easily controlled my you thumb only on left or right hand.

Decent power. Funky switch but works well once you understand it.

I tried to buy a Ambiano cordless hand mixer from Aldi for $15 but they were always out of stock. The idea of not having to keep cords from getting tangled up on my countertop was appealing. The first mixer I bought was a Tumidy $45 model, because it looked like the Ambiano and all of these are probably made in the same factory in China with different trim. The left beater would fall out in the middle of being used after having been inserted with a positive click, so that was returned. So I went double or nothing for the Hamilton Beach and ended up returning for a variety of reasons but mainly because I suspect lawyers were involved in designing the controls. There is a separate power switch that has to be pushed before the 2 step rotary control will activate, after a 30 second pause. I would then turn the rotary switch to the left and nothing, turn it some more, still nothing, then suddenly it starts to run. When pressing the center button to turn off there is a slight delay, almost like it is getting it's orders from "the cloud". It is also heavy, loud and doesn't mix as well as my 10 year old Proctor Silex $15 corded model. I suspect the use of the "new" thick whisk style beaters which are more about saving battery than mixing are to blame.I then read every review and searched every alternative source for a good cordless hand mixer, a lot of which complained of the same Rube Goldberg style controls, and decided that keeping and using my trusty old Proctor Silex with new appreciation and just dealing with the cord was my best option.I get for users that absolutely need to use a mixer where there is no power outlet these can be great but I'm going to wait until my corded model quits working and by then maybe some company has it figured out.
