Nice case, I love the vintage look. The case feels well built, the zipper is large and smooth and feels like it'll last a long time. I shoot a Beretta A400 Xcel with a 32" barrel (53") and it fits in this case with about an inch to spare. Finding a case long enough to fit this shotgun has been a challenge, but this case was perfect. The interior dimension of this case is 54".

Bout products are always a cut above the rest in terms of quality and value.

I already own a Boyt “Alaska” series case, which is essentially the same as the “Signature” series but the Alaska has a woven web carry strap and the Signature has a leather carry strap. The Signature series is the only case I found that is truly 54” long and will easily enclose a 52” long shotgun. Very well padded, very tough exterior, and ruggedly good looking build quality.

I got one of these for a new Citori I purchased and love it. 52". Heavy duty with a heavy strong brass not plastic zipper. Then I found out they made longer ones. This one is a 54" for a BT99 34" barrel. Same thing, heavy duty padded material with a heavy duty brass zipper, not plastic. Both are worth the money to protect thousand dollar plus shotguns. Highly recommend.

This is an excellent compromise between a cheap, mediocre-quality soft case, such as those found on Amazon and other places for around $15-$30, and a very expensive, ultra high-quality case from the likes of Croots, which run up into the hundreds of dollars. This case from Boyt has some nice features for the price, including well-padded heavy canvas, a nice beefy brass zipper, and thick leather strapping that should hold up indefinitely. The quality is there, which is what I've come to expect from Boyt. And it's very handsome; my hunting buddies have all commented on what a nice case it is when they've seen it.A quality shotgun can cost thousands of dollars, and it's nice to know that my expensive tools are protected (in style, at that). Well, at least until I take them out of my Boyt case and drag them around in the briars all day in search of birds...

This is a very nice case, well built, and looks good. If you're looking for a more traditional style case (canvas/leather) you probably won't find a nicer one for the money. It seems built to last and protects my gun well. However, it does have 2 faults. First off, the leather is cheap- it has a very plastic look to it and it seems to just crease up instead of developing wear in a nicer way. The second fault is the strap is not very comfortable to use slung over your shoulder, and it's awkward holding it in your hands. I wish it had a couple of grab handles like other cases and lose the sling. The positives do outweigh the negatives. I would definitely buy the case again, because I prefer the classic look of the case and I'm not going to spend $200-400 for something from Filson, White Wing or Orvis.

I bought this case two years ago in the 52" Length for my Browning Maxus which is 49" in length and there is about 1" left of space when the shotgun is in the case all the way. If my gun was any longer, I think the case would be a little difficult to close. For this reason I recommend getting your case just a couple inches longer than your gun measures. The quality of this case is excellent.I chose to get this Boyt case for my Maxus because I already owned a Boyt handgun case that I like very much because of the same quality. The zipper has large teeth and is very heavy duty. I like the leather carrying strap. The pocket is nice for carrying those other chokes that you may want to bring with you. Then to add icing to the cake, they even added leather pulls to the zipper for when you have gloves on, making it easier to grip them. The leather is heavy duty, and even survived my English Springer puppy chewing on them! When you spend a thousand bucks on a shotgun, it deserves a great case. And this one fits the bill perfectly.I love it!
