Bought this soft case for a Daisy 901 air rifle. Rifle fits in case just right. Case seems to be made well for the price.

Nice rifle case. Bought for a Savage B22 Magnum F, with bi-pod and scope. Just fits. Case is supposed to float. Appears to be 3/4" thick, velour type finish inside. Handles are full strap, wrapping around the entire case.

I was looking for a very inexpensive & basic case for my Ruger American 22lr rifle. Just for taking back and forth to the range in my car. It has single stitching, good handle, decent padding, single good zipper, no pockets, very plain and simple. Very good deal for the price.

I like Bulldog cases. I have a couple. I do not jerk the zippers like some people do so I have had no problems except when I had the case on the floor standing in the corner right near a door. Yup, my zipper stuck out just enough that when I closed the closet door it closed on my zipper. My fault. I knew better but got in a hurry. Anyways, this small case fits our Winchester Wildcat .22 with a small red dot on it. There is plenty of room for a rifle sling and maybe even a small bipod if you wanted one. Has good padding and the carry straps seem good and secure. I recommend Bulldog cases. Great for the price.

For the price, it should have had at least a zippered closure outside pouch. Build quality is just OK, could have had slightly thicker or more firm padding. I'm comparing this one to lower cost but better quality casesthat are available from Amazon.

Bought a mossy 835 with a 2'' turkey chock which makes the gun 46'' and it just fit inside this bag. This is a good rifle bag, nothing to brag about but it does the job. Makes it easy to take my shotgun places (hunting, range, skeet) and it keeps it safe during transport, so basely it does its job. There are no pocket or extra storage in this case which isn't a big deal for me because I just need ammo and I take that in a separate bag. But if you have a riffle w/ optics and other things than you might want to keep like some tool with you, some oil, extra parts, random stuff....ya you might want to bring another bag or find another rifle case. But most of the time you don't need anything to fancy, and this will do the job just fine. Its not expensive, it feels good, and it does the job. Just measure your gun to make sure it will fit in the bag.

I wanted an economy case for storing my Ruger 10/22 in my home. After looking at many options and reviews on Amazon I chose this one, specifically the 40" version. I paid $21.69 with free shipping. Based on other reviews it appears that some folks have been able to catch this case for up to 50% cheaper. For the price I paid I'm pleased. For ~$10 it would be a no-brainer!Pros:- The padding, at about 3/4" thick on each side is more than adequate for my need- There is a sturdy hook on the muzzle end which I use to hang the bag when not in use- Zipper slides easily! This is a huge pet peeve of mine so I'm happy to say no issues here.- Is durable for basic, light to moderate useOpportunities:- The carry handles are a standard 1 1/2" webbing material folded and sewn at the point of carry and are not overly comfortable. There is no joiner to connect the straps for carry. Not horrible, but would be a nice addition.- There are no storage pockets on this case. It's literally just the one big sleeve. I can't complain since I knew this when I made the purchase, but just want to point it out for other purchasers.- There are no hooks for a shoulder strap. Again, can't complain since I knew this when I bought it, but the ability to add a should strap would be a welcome addition to this case.As stated by other reviewers, be sure to take some measurements and purchase a bag that is 2"-3" (or more) longer than your rifle. Stated measurements are of the case itself and not the gun for which it is made. A 40" case will not fit a 40" gun!I hope this review has been helpful to you. I will gladly respond to any comments if I can be of more help with your purchase.

I purchased one 40" and also one 44" case. I'm giving them 5 stars based on the price of eleven bucks each with free(prime member) two day shipping. For those claiming it's "a little short", are you serious?? It clearly says in the description that a 40" case will hold a 38" weapon, a 44" case for a 42" weapon, etc... If you can't figure out a tape measure perhaps shouldn't have access to anything that requires a gun case! Measure your weapon, add 2-3 inches, order accordingly, and it will fit just fine. The padding is more than adequate(3/4 thick all around) and will protect your weapon unless you're throwing it around. These a not hard cases and are suited for lying flat in the trunk to transport items to the range or hunting area. There is a small tag hook on the muzzle end if you want to hang it up vertically with weapon inside. There is only one zipper pull which ends(zipped closed) at the butt end. It appears there is webbing sewn at the butt end of the zipper so that a zip tie or, possibly, repeat POSSIBLY, a small lock can be utilized. It could just be there to prevent splitting the case but, hey, use it if it works for you. I just paused my review to check it out further. I was, literally, able to slide a AAA battery through the sewn webbing loop. It was tight but doable. The metal zipper pull has a little loop on the end that is 1/4" wide at its widest(the battery would NOT go through it). If you want something lockable you might be able to do it but don't plan on it being much of a deterrent. The tag says it floats but, sorry, I'm not going to test it, now or, hopefully, ever, to find out. :)The carry handles are the standard, simple webbing(3/4inch??) and might become uncomfortable with a heavy weapon carried over a long distance. The handles do not have one of those velcro type things that join(sister) them together to form one carry handle. It does not come with, nor is there is a place to attach, a shoulder strap. There are no pockets, zippered or otherwise, for storage. The 40" case will fit a Ruger 10/22 w/scope (37" overall length). Regular scope with regular mounts will be fine. The 44" case will fit a shotgun with a pistol grip w/NO scope(40.5in L x 8in H). I'm going to say "NO", a scope will NOT fit if you have a pistol grip. A shotgun with a scope but WITHOUT a pistol grip will, I'm sure, work fine.Manufacturer is: Bulldog CasesModel is: Pit BullMade in ChinaIt's, IMO, perfect for light/moderate use.At eleven bucks, w/free shipping, for my purpose(to/from range & storage) it's a very good value and a no brainer. I'd gladly buy it again. I'm sure I'd go again at close to twenty.
