They added a large number of big hanging punching bags at my gym, and it's fun and a good workout to go over and punch at them even for a few minutes, usually just using my lifting gloves. However I quickly realized that it hurts, both my fists and my wrists. These are extremely comfortable gloves, though as it turns out 12 oz is a fairly large glove, not a MMA-style glove. But this also means they have a significant amount of padding on them to cushion the blow. Does have a pretty cool design, a bit flashy but not over the top. I will definitely be bringing these to the gym occasionally, there's other folks with the same size gloves so it won't look out of place. No plans to spar however.

I haven't put these to the test yet as I am away from home and I need to put a punching bag up in this location first. My usual bag gloves are 16oz leathers from a mainstream brand. These are smaller in weight, obviously. They are brand new and need to be broken in for a while before I can truly get a sense of performance.Off the bat, the retaining strap on this model offers good wrist support. It is, in fact, a little different in overall feel from the next size down in this brand. This one has better wrist support but I find that I'm a little pinched in the fingers. The smaller one has less wrist support but more space for the fingers. This may change as they are used and they open up.Stitching seems appropriate to me. The material feels tough enough and much nicer than synthetic.

These gloves are comfortable, and the breathability seems good. I have to use them longer and see how they hold up. My main gripe with these gloves is that the padding is SUPER hard. I would NOT feel comfortable sparring someone with these gloves, even 16oz, because I would not feel comfortable getting hit by gloves this hard. The padding seems fine, and is thick enough. It just seems like the material is very stiff. I'm hoping that it will soften a bit more as I break the gloves in, and I'll update if that happens, but I don't recommend these gloves for sparring.That being said, I think they are fine for padwork, or hitting the heavy bag. They are probably better than nothing if you do super light touch/technical sparring, but I wouldn't recommend them for even medium intensity sparring. The current price is $50. If all you want is a cheaper, entry level glove for hitting pads, these gloves would be fine. But at this price point, I think you're better off either getting an even cheaper set of gloves, or putting in the money to get high quality gloves that will last and have more flexibility in use cases.

This is a nice pair of adult boxing gloves. It protects my hands from getting hurt and the bag from getting damaged. It's nice and comfortable to wear and seems to fit well. I'm not worried about giving the bag a beating since I'm protected and my bag will last a bit longer getting punched by this over a bare fist. This is great. I'm happy with it.

I know next to nothing about boxing gloves and what all of the weights mean or any of that. I got these for my daughter so she could protect her hands when punching a punching bag and for that purpose these are fantastic. They protect her hands with plenty of padding and support; they fit like a glove, and they look great. She likes them a lot and they seems like a decent value for the money.

These gloves fit and feel pretty good. I have used them. On a couple heavy bag sessions and so far they have been great. The colors and designs of the glove look really good. The straps hold firmly in place and help to keep the gloves locked on during intense bag sessions.
