This does not fit all 1-1/8 shank jack hammers (Bosch or otherwise). Pay attention to the end - is your included bits round at shank? Does your bits have the ground out on edge or flat side of shank?

I was a bit dissapointted in the shovel tip not well ground I'm sure it will do the job but at that price I expexted more

WORST quality bosch tool i have ever had. this bit broke in half in less than 90 days and bosch will not stand behind their product. i may as well have bought the cheap assed Harbor Freight version and saved some money. until today i have been a 25 year bosch fan. but today that ends.

We use this bit in a HF jack hammer. We installing fencing in a very rocky and clay soil. This bit helps tremendously in clay soil.

On time. It's a heavy metal thing. Flat on one end and not flat on the other. Just like it should be

Designed to work with the Bosch Brute breaker. Easily pounds into hard soil. Has the 1 1/8 inch fitting so fits good with the breaker. It does not have a super long handle, but is enough to get through the hard soild then change out to a breaker bit for the hard rocky soil.

I am used to Makita clay spades, but this one worked just as well in dense clay and rocky soil.

This clay spade looks very substantial. I haven't had a chance to dig with it yet, but it looks like it will be up to the task. It fits very well into the chuck of my driving machine. When I'm ready, it's ready.

I'm using this spade with a Makita 70lbs. verical break hammer and the combination is just a monster. You really want to find clay or decomposed granite with the tool. I've been digging trenches for stackable block walls and this tool is a real time saver. Worth every penny. I bought the Bosch spade because I could not find the like Makita. Gets a little heavy but you get used to it.
