Heavy Duty Seed Trays

Recyclable Plastic
Our trays are made from recyclable food safe Polypropylene plastic (#5). We don't add any harmful plasticizers to our trays.
We use an injection molding process for consistency and durability.
Seed Tray Dimensions
The flat tray is a bit wider on the top and slightly tapers to the bottom to make the trays stack-able for easy storage.

These 1020 trays are strong and thick, and they work well, but one flaw sticks out to me. There is a cut in the outer rib on each end to give you a space to wedge your finger into to pull the trays apart when stacked up, but this cut drastically decreases the structural rigidity of the tray. They flex and bend at this cut, and if the trays are overloaded, they will break at this point.

Awesome and Study Trays for Transporting our Coleus Plants to our customers. We get 6 plants per tray when we transport 30 to 60 to our customers.

These trays are really nice and sturdy. I can carry larger pots in them without buckling. Now that I see how versatile they are, I wish I had ordered ten. I could use ten, and they are at a better price point. They are made in the USA.

I was confused by the weight of the box when it arrived. It was heavy for 5 trays. Then I opened the box and got my first glimps of Bootstrap Farmer trays. Good Lord what a tray! I had 5 regular big box trays. All five of those together are not as thick as one of these trays. I filled up the new trays and picked them up by one end. My other trays would at this point fold in half and dump everything in the floor. Not with these babies. It flexed every so slightly and there was a full 6 inch terra cotta pot in the other end of the tray along all my other potted up tomatoes. My mind has officially been blown by the quality of these trays. I only wish I could give these trays more than 5 stars. Buy these trays. You wont regret it!!!

I have had these trays since 2019 and absolutely love them! They are in perfect condition after 5 growing seasons. These are the best 1020 trays I have ever bought. Dont waste your time and money on other trays.

I was a little hesitant to pay that much for seedling trays, but now that I have used them a bit, wow. These are super tough, well made, robust trays that will probably last a lifetime. They went the extra mile on the groove design to make them deep enough for a clear drain off from the pots, and also deep enough to provide a reservoir of moisture between the heat matt and the soil. 6Stars.

Really sturdy tray. I used to have flimsy trays and I did not mind them. I would just hold it with two hands. Then i had a need for them to be sturdy and i bought sturdy trays and they were great, only slightly bend downwards with weight. They were still really good. but then i got these trays - and these are SUPER sturdy. And no bending with weight (or insignificant). Being that i have more trays now, and i have an infant i might be holding with 1 hand - i really want the sturdiest tray. These trays are great and worth the money. No cracks. I need more and i thought about it, and ill be ordering more of these.

I initially purchased these trays to grow wheat grass mats for my cats. They have worked extremely well for this purpose. They're big enough for a single cat to lay down on and each tray of wheat grass will last at least a couple of weeks with sufficient watering, in spite of constant mauling by the cats (and a couple of dogs, as well). When the grass has faded it removes easily and the trays clean right up with a quick rinse. I liked them so much for this purpose that I purchased another set to use for starting seedlings in peat pots and to hold small pots of propagated plants. They are definitely sturdier than similar trays I've purchased in the past from "big box" stores, which tend to be thin, spindly, and prone to cracking. They're more expensive, but I anticipate that they'll last a lot longer, resist cracking, reduce waste, etc. so you get your money's worth in reusability.

J'aime bien ces plateaux. Ils sont fort et cela facilite le déplacement des semis. Par contre, je suis très déçu qu'un de mes plateaux soit brisé. Je l'ai échappé vide d'environ 1m et celui ci s'est brisé au contact du plancher de béton du garage. Le plateau est encore utilisable mais il est brisé.Je pensais ne plus avoir à acheter de plateaux de semis mais ce ne semble pas être le cas. Et à plus de 5x le prix d'en magasin je m'attendais à mieux.

Tired of buying cheap quality seed trays that last one year (or less) and then leak or crack - so I decided to buy these. Really impressed with quality and sturdiness. They are solid, easy to clean, and I know that I will be reusing these for several years to come. Recommended
