My primary use case was to use a pair of Bluetooth headphones with my Vizio 4K TV that does not have built-in Bluetooth. With normal Bluetooth Transmitter/Receiver, there is no way to pair a pair of headphones as there is no display. This Bluetooth Tx/Rx solves that problem with a built-in display. While the display is nothing write home about, it does the job. I was able to successfully pair my Jabra headphones and the audio quality was great. While it works for my use case there are some issues with this unit, nothing that cannot be fixed with a firmware update. The nice feature is that it can be directly plugged into a USB socket for power. No need to for external power supply. I plugged the unit directly into the USB socket on the TV, which works great.1. The unit does not auto connect to the headphones when the TV and the headphones are powered on. I have to manually force the headphone to connect, which is fine for me as it is an annoyance that I can live with.2. Build quality can be improved.3. Does not come with Coaxial audio to audio jack connector, only comes with audio jack to audio jack cable.4. when I have variable sound for the coaxial audio-out on the Vizio TV, I would loose audio connection intermittently. Again this is not a big deal as I do not have to control the TV volume using the TV remote. I can use the volume control on the headphone itself.

On the TV I was able to pair it with my earphones but no sound was heard. Also connected to my PC but no sound. I will return it and try another one. Hopefully that will work.

It is super easy to install and use. It will do both transmit and receive Bluetooth signals. Plug into a computer, no need to install software or drivers. Pair your head set or speakers to it and done. You can also pair your phone to the device connect the 3.5mm cable to aux in on a stereo or speaker, and play music from your phone. Both worked well with no lag. Still amazed it does both this easy and well.
