Ordered this to replace failing latch on my RV door. Seems as good as OEM quality.

The deadbolt will stick either locked or unlocked, broke a key trying to unlock it.

Already felt hefty in its box. It's a sturdy metal lock that replaced our old black RV door lock. Took a little while to assemble it. Mostly to align it just right, which included the multiple screws this lock comes with. It looks like our old RV door lock but its keys are smaller & more fragile-looking. We'll have to handle it with more care so it doesn't break at any time.Recommended.

Very nice product, heavy duty for protection. I recommend this door lock and handle.

No complaints at all. Replaced my Keystone RV door handle because the deadbolt mechanism broke on the factory one. Swapped out super easy and appears to be better quality than the original, to be honest. Time will tell, but I will update if it goes bad. It does have a different key style that you probably can't copy, but you get 4 of them included so there shouldn't really be a need to anyway.

I picked these up for the doors on a horse trailer I'm building. Overall they're great latches. The ones I got have a weird, laser cut key which I find odd (so you will not be able to get copies made!). Other than that, I found it noteworthy, these have a metal flipper for the dead bolt. Which is a nice touch. They fit in the same hole as all the other latches I have so installation should be simple. The locking/unlocking/open/close actions are all smooth and tight. The only real problem with it is the plate for the door. For some reason, they didn't chamfer the holes. So the screws do not seat in the plate properly. It's simple to fix with a chamfer tool but still should have been taken care of from the factory.

I recently purchased a 2010 5th wheel. The door was difficult to close because the latch was sticking and not allowing the door to close without opening the latch. Once the door was closed the latch lock would not work. I was able to use the deadbolt portion of the latch but only after fighting the key hole. I got this door latch and had it installed in under five minutes. I had to remove four screws from the old latch body and two more screws from the stricker portion of the latch. The latch easily came out. The new latch came with a foam type seal attached to seal against water and weather. Installation was a reverse of removing the old latch. Total job less than five minutes. Only tool needed was a phillips screw driver. This latch looks and functions like the original. The key is not the standard everyday key, I believe it's a laser cut key. Four keys were included. My trailer is a 2010 Sringdale 5th wheel by Keystone. This latch appears well built and solid. I would not hesitate to get this latch again.
