These are for a replacement of the original water door. They are made poorly and don't latch well. They are very loose. I had to modify them slightly to function as they should.

Unless you have a camper or rv you probably have never had a need for this item. The cam lock is used on the water heater access door. It allows the door to be opened for maintaining and turning on the water heater on many campers, rv's and travel trailers. These things are prone to failure and are a little tricky to replace. If they do fall off, the door that is being held in place by one of these cam locks will also fall off and most likely get lost as you are driving down the road. Oblivious to the door that bounced away some unknown miles away and at some point, you will find it missing.Probably ought to replace one every year to keep ahead of the failure rate. This package contains 4 of the camlocks so I should be good to go for a number of years. It is well constructed and made of stainless steel that is least likely to rust and leave an ugly streak on the side of the camper/rv/travel trailer. Glad I have some back ups.

This review is for the Yourkar 4 PCS RV Water Heater Cam Lock.I don't need these at this time, but every time I open the heater door, the current on seems loose. I grabbed these to keep in the travel trailer "just in case." And at this price, they're cheap insurance.Am I a satisfied customer? Yes.Would I recommend this item to a friend? Yes.
