This filter works better than the one that came with the vacuum, it releases the fiber and dust collected a lot easier.

I use this vacuum for clay cat litter. So the filter gets clogged with hair and tiny clay particles. Yes, I could spend the time to thoroughly clean the filter. It cleans well. But I buy one about every 6 months. Works well for me and my kitty.
