This package is a good start for the beginner who needs some tools to start working on their bike at a low cost. The main reason I got this kit is the tension meter (this kit is a third of the cost of the TM-1 that was replicated). This meter is obviously lower quality and doesn’t have any adjustment for calibrating, but it worked well enough to compare variations in spoke tension. Watch videos on how to use it and also how to true a wheel. It’s not about tightening every spoke to the exact same tension, the spokes will have some variation once the rim is straight.As for the other tools, there’s a wide range of spoke wrenches with some pretty bad quality and tolerances. I only kept the double ended wrench and one of the muli-sized rings to go with my main four-sided SW-42. I also prefer plastic tire levers to protect the rim, but these would work in a pinch. If you don’t need all these included tools, you could save a bit more buying just a meter.

This set has everything you need to true your bicycle wheel and adjust the spoke tension. It has a tension meter to equalize the tension on the spokes. There is a very clear manual for the tension meter, but it would be helpful to include basic instructions on how to adjust the spokes for the novices among us.

Used the gauge to true two e-bike wheels without any problems. The bundled tools are not the best, but they work.
