I needed to replace an old set of original GripShift shifters on a vintage mountain bike. These did the trick. Shift accuracy isn't great but neither were the originals - in the 1980s, indexed shifting was still in its infancy. These were cheaper than just a new set of grips for the GripShifts. Value for money.

ratcheting quit working on both pieces after turning them once. Over all feel is cheap.

These did exactly what they're supposed to do. They transition from gear to gear is very smooth and adjustments can be done in a instant.
