I've tried this with 3 bicycles, and as the headline mentions, this does work well, BUT you need a bicycle with an adequate mounting position.I have 1 bicycle where the seat post and frame support beams are welded right up to the post pressure clamp. For this bicycle, the only mounting option I have is to raise the seat up about 4 inches and take off my taillight. Then it works. But, having the seat up that high doesn't work. So, I tried with another bicycle.Likewise, when pulling, you'll need handlebars that are free of attachments (like bike computer, headlight). The tow cable stretches out to about 5-6 feet, enough room to give the towed bicycle enough room to brake, as long as the rider is conscious!
