I have been playing my Conn 10M tenor sax since 1975. I bought my first Otto Link Super Tone Master mouthpiece in 1979. The Otto Link ligatures that come with the STM are so inconsistent that I have left the Otto Links in a drawer for decades. The BG Revelation ligature has made the STM my goto mouthpiece.

Overengineered garbage lig. There is not enough flexibility in the corrugated plate that contacts the reed so if your mouthpiece isn’t a perfect match it’s game over -squeak city.

Qualità bg sempre ottima, estrema facilità di emissione del suono, ottimo per chi cerca un suono brillante e aperto ma non troppo strillante.Attenzione quando si acquista: la misura è per i bocchini ottolink in metallo che sono molto più stretti di quelli in ebanite. Se lo acquistate perché non siete consapevoli di ciò, evitate di dare valutazioni negative perché è chiaramente specificata la misura!

Tuve que devolverlo porque era paqueña para mi boquilla Jody Jazz HR. Sinceramente, no creo que valga para boquillas que no sean de metal porque suelen ser más estrechas que las de ebonita...

Didn't fit my Otto Link mouthpiece. Does fit a different mouthpiece I use. Was too loose to be functional on the Otto Link.

This ligature did not fit my New York Auto Link 5 very well at all. It caused major squeaking and excessive stuffiness to the tone. Not for me at all.

I know it says tenor sax, but I tried it on my alto otto link and it fit, and worked. I couldn't fit it on my RSR tenor, or my Rousseau jazz metal tenor mouthpieces. Did not fit any of my metal alto pieces eiter, jody jazz, dv ny, bari wt2, yanagisawa, or my Rousseau jazz metal. It fits like a glove on otto link pieces though. It sounds bout the same as a rovner lig to my ear, but it blows easier with this lig.

My son ordered this for his sax thinking it came with a "cap and small metal mouthpiece". Maybe someone who knows more about the sax than we did would know better, but it is just his first year in school band. So I took off a star for the misleading wording on the product site. Sorry I can't review the product, but it didn't fit his plastic mouthpiece. It is FOR a metal mouthpiece. Live and learn.
