This product brand works the best in my opinion. However, it ran out too quickly. So, I took my other NEW roll and uncoiled it to measure length. ONLY 5' long! Previous purchases seemed to have been fine. So maybe it was just the Seller?

Kind of narrow, didn’t read the description well enough. Have to use a lot even for Smaller items. Have a few spools of chemtronics solder wick though. Cant go wrong with this brand

This particular "solder-wick" (#4 wire-mesh gauge) is "just what the (radio) doctor asked for".! ;)This size weave (#4) does the best job (especially with the lightly added Rosin) at "pulling" solder away from your circuit traces, though when using it for larger amounts of solder, it WILL require more length of it to be used per joint, and is why I have ALWAYS purchase the 10 ft roll (80-4-10) as opposed to the 5 ft roll 80-4-5)...

Chemtronics makes excellent solder wick. I've been using their solder wick for many years, both professionally and personally.
