Wow! So replacing an older box spring with this adjustable base. I have a Dream Cloud hybrid mattress, which I purchased almost a year ago, and it was ok with the box spring, but I was looking for something a bit more sturdy and firm.I made this purchase over Black Friday and it arrived the next week. Be warned, first, that this thing is HEAVY! The package says it weighs 129 pounds, and it’s every bit of that. The box is a huge rectangle, too, and it’s hard to get a hold of, so if you’re not a weightlifter, I’d get help.I got the frame upstairs to my bedroom and got everything unpacked. It’s pretty straightforward with 6 legs and a power supply to assemble. That’s it. Screw the legs in and connect the power. Oh, you’ll also need to install the provided batteries into the remote.Once that was done, and with the old box spring removed from my old frame, I tipped the adjustable frame up and slid it into place. The legs are narrow enough to fit within the old frame, so I’m using my headboard and footboard with the adjustable base.Once I plugged it in, viola! The remote works great and this frame is now officially the coolest thing I’ve bought from Amazon! There is a massage feature, which is just a vibration, like the old 1000 finger massage from the 70s motel rooms, but there are also LED lights under the bed!As for comfort, the height is perfect and the adjustability is excellent. This base also adds a degree of firmness that I was lacking with the box springs, so I think it’s gonna work out great!

Setup is a breeze: attach legs, add mattress, plug it in, and install the mattress retainer at the foot. Then use the remote to get comfy. Presets are great for most needs, you can add 2 of your own custom presets easily with the remote, the lights under the bed are handy, (I have a habit of kicking things in the dark as do many others I am sure), the remote has a flashlight built in which is nice. The massage modes just make the head and feet of the bed vibrate. Not sure what that's good for, but maybe some will find it soothing. Very sturdy build and raised me and my dogs without straining at all. (I weight 210, dogs are 60lbs each). Sits up pretty high, but not too high. Overall 10/10. Can't beat the quality for the price.

I'd been worried even tho the mattress company assured me my air mattress would work ok with it. No worries it works just fine. And was much cheaper than the one Select Comfort sells for my bed.I did not read the product description for weight and was surprised by the size of the box. I was expecting a bunch of pieces id have to put together. (I'm an expert at Ikea stuff)It arrived much quicker than I thoughtalthough they just left it and didn't even let me know it was there, not that anyone could have run up and stolen it very easily.Thankfully my room mate and my neighbor were able to get it in the house, unboxed and up the stairs to my bedroom. Never would have been able to do this on my own.Setup was so easy! It's very sturdy and comfortable and has made reading and watching TV enjoyable. The only complaint I have is that the motor for the massage can get loud the higher the setting buy the lower ones are very quiet. Coupled with my heated mattress pad and I may never get out of bed!The underbed lighting is perfect when reading at night and makes a great nightlight in the middle of the night. The USB ports aren't working but I have plenty of them bedside.I have had no issues with my mattress sliding around even though it is much lighter than a traditional one. I do tend to forget the pillows and lose one off the top when I raise it up.On a really positive note, it has made putting on a fitted sheet so much easier! These are the only 2 reasons why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. Hopefully they can fix these issues for the future. After it arrived I saw the priced went down more and the company had no problem meeting it and issued a refund. This was definitely worth my money.
