Normal gymn sleds are pretty large and often have handles to push with as well as pull. That could be a little too big for use in your home. This sled is very bare bones. It's compact, only allows pulling, and is fairly light. I am using it on carpet in my home and the smaller size is a welcome thing, especially since I have to turn it around in my small area and walk it back and forth. The weight area is large enough for 45lb plates, and while it is made for the smaller plates, it does have an olympic plate adapter made of plastic which attaches to it.One nitpick is the olympic plate adapter doesn't go up the entire length of the bar. So the very top is still the skinnier bar. It doesn't change the functionality but it looks ugly. The sled came very well packaged, with tough foam wrapping over the metal ends to prevent it from destroying the shipping box or getting chipped. The paint job was perfect, no chips or scratches, and it arrived perfect. Assembly was a bit of a pain because they didn't provide any tools for assembly. You have to attach 3 phillip head screws to 3 lock nuts and washers, and they are not great hardware. The screw heads are huge and I had to find a very large bit to not strip them out. The lock nuts didn't want to thread on very easily either and so it took a lot of effort to tighten everything down. The sled comes with a harness and straps for pulling. They use decent quality screw carabiners to attach everything. The straps are not very long though and so taller people may find they are lifting the sled as much as pulling it. I personally do not use the vest, I want to pull from my waist in order to develop knee strength so your mileage may vary. It's also worth noting that the plate area of the sled is more than large enough to accomidate Hex dumbbells instead of plates if you want an easy way to change the weight. I can fit my 2 60lb hex dumbbells pretty handily and they remain stable while pulling if I don't jerk it around. This makes setting it up, using it, and putting it away, very easy.Speaking of putting it away, because of it's small size, you can wrap the strap around the weight bar and tuck this into a closet or any small area as it takes up almost no space with the plates removed.

It took time for me to test this on a few surfaces, and I have to say, this sled is SO cool!!!I'm not very strong so I can't speak if it can handle the weight capacity as stated, but I was able to do 65 lbs and it held up well. The belts on the other hand is what I knocked a star off for. They were creaking and I kept hearing sounds of cracking though I saw no damage. I don't think they can stand up to more weight. The belts also kind of hurt and chafe. Maybe it's my body size and height. I'm 5'1" and 120 lbs. This could be more comfortable for someone taller and bulkier.

I love the color of the sled, and all of the attachments are beneficial. The sled itself is very light weight but can carry about 500 pounds. It's great for functional training.

This sled is small than I thought it would be but appears to be very heavily constructed with nice welds.

Didn't realize how small and light this would be, but we found that it's pretty fun to have a grown man stand on the sled while someone trucks it across the field. If it can hold me, it can hold whatever plates you're trying to load it up with. Strap and harness size wasn't an issue for us, but the harness does seem like it was meant to fit differently

The construction is light but if you take care of your equipment this should last. The carabiners seem large enough to support the advertised weight capacity when pulling. I will probably never use the included shoulder straps, and will just attach some more rope and some handles for reverse sled work. This could have benefited from including handles and a longer rope as a more all-in-one solution. Be very careful when removing the packaging as the paint can scratch very easily. It does make me question how long the paint will last if you run over any stones or sticks when training. It's not a high end piece of gear but will definitely get the job done.

I reviewed a similar sled a couple months ago and this one is not much different. Same design, same capacity, and same harness and strap kit. The only noticeable difference is this one having a glossy paint finish, which is neither good nor bad. The sled does what it's supposed to do but I recommend getting a more comfortable strap kit if you plan to use it a lot. Value wise, this one is less expensive and more aligned to what I'd pay for a small weight sled.

I'm new to this type of workout and I think it is fun! This is my first weight sled and I like it. It was easy to put together and I liked that it had an adapter and a weight clip. I was surprised how much weight I could pull! Im looking forward to incorporating this into my weekly workouts! Very cool!
