I used these for finishing guitar frets after leveling and crowning. 1 light pass in both directions with these and 1 light pass in both directions with the matching buffer wheels and compound. The frets look like chrome.

These are great. Strips through paint and rust. They do wear down and leave the dust from that process, but is to be expected. Well worth the price, I have already ordered more.

These are generally equivalent to 3M gray (very fine) surface prep disks. The ROLOC connector worked fine. (3M grades brown/coarse, burgundy/medium, blue/fine, gray/very fine).
