The vest is slightly thicker than a Columbia vest, but the zipper is on the opposite side of most/all of my other clothing items. This is a weird trend that I've been noticing in the garment industry lately. Also, the tab of extra fleece on the top of the collar is more of a nuisance than a help. The zipper is water resistant. I ordered dark green but they sent me grey. Be aware, the vest is not wind resistant, but at this price point, I did not expect it to be. It runs slightly smaller than expected, however with fleece you want it to be a little snug for warmth.

This is very lush and warm and beautifully put together. The only drawback is the zipper pull is opposite a normal mens zipper pull. Perhaps it was intended for a woman. Except for that an incredible item

The jacket is great, perfect color and fit, arrived promptly. But the zipper is backwards for a man. It makes it difficult for my husband to zip it. He has grip problems and the zipper being on the other side is not natural for him.

I was very pleased with the pressed thick fleece material and color which matched my blue jeans. A size Medium is ok for a knit vest, but this vest, when zippered, was a little tight. I worried that it would shrink, even a little, in its first laundering, so I bought the next size up, which fits very comfortably. The armpits are elastic with a perfect fit. That was a nice touch to a vest. I highly recommend this fair-priced winter-weight vest for daily casual wear over your shirt or turtle neck jersey sweater.
