My mechanic took 45-60 minutes to remove and install it.Instructions can be found easily, but basically remove the motor cover and inlet air duct, then remove the connector and the last step is the 2 bolts holding it.Half the fun was removing those 2 bolts, pretty badly placed, and they get out toward the exterior where you have limited access. Then removing the bracket and unscrewing the filter is easy.The other half of the fun was putting back the bolt. After 20 minutes of trying, we used a 10 mm bolt from the reverse direction, this helps relocation the bracket correctly, after we installed a nut, which is easy on a fresh bolt. The next replacement will be easier if my 2003 gets to see it.

This was to go on a 2001 Acura MDX. It appears well made. I was unable to remove the one already on the car, and the dealer service department's mechanics tell me they never change them anyway. So it will live in a back corner of the garage.

Not a lot to say about this other than it looks to be of good quality and it fit exactly as it should in the 2001 Acura CL I installed it on. The shape was a slight bit different than the factory one I took off, but it ended up installing / fitting exactly the same. I was told by a professional mechanic that Beck Arnley is a good brand and I have used parts from them in other applications in the past and they have never let me down.

Only reason this gets 1 star is not product related but more false advertising related because this filter does not fit any 2001 odyssey models.

Worked just like the OEM filter. I even cut the OEM one open with an angle grinder and it's nothing special, looks like like the inside of an engine oil filter. Seems like a quality piece and fairly easy install on an '04 Odyssey minivan.

After watched two good videos about installing this part for 03 Honda Odyssey, it took me more than 4 hours to get in installed. Here is my Experience:1. don't need to uninstall battery tray2. uninstall engine plastic cover - 4 bolts3. remove black intake air hose4. remove battery5. unplug 2 wire holders (not wire plug) from bracket attached to upper left of battery tray when you look at the tray6. unplug a big grey wire plug (right above transmission filter)7. use 10 mm combination ratchet wrench !!! to lose two bolts with telescoping magnetic pick up tool so bolt won't be dropped8. use 8" adjusted wrench uninstall and install filter9. when screwing filter, i bent bracket which is used to hold filter with two bolts a little bit so it is easier to screw filter in...
