Most women's vests out there are very fitted. This is short and boxy. Good soft shell material without being stiff and its soft inside. A lightweight vest with an appreciated "low pro" logo, that has ample room for layers. I normally am a XL in most every top. 43-44" total around chest and a belly. The XL was huge! I returned for a Large and still have plenty of room for a hoody under it. If I wanted it more fitted, I bet I could of gone with a Medium because it does have some stretch. The XL was 23" pit to pit, 23" in middle stomach and 25" shoulder to lower hem. The Large was 22", 22" and 24 in length. I think its a great vest at least for me and my build. Wish they had size charts.

It's a nice light vest. I got the paprika color and it's really pretty. It's soft and light - perfect for layering during cool mornings/nights. I normally wear small and the small size I got is slightly larger than I expected but since this is going over other clothes, it's fine. The vest has 3 zippered pockets that are made really nicely (good zipper, stitching, etc). Overall, the vest is really well made. Only issue I have is that mine has a slight anomaly in the stitching on one of the shoulders. I'm not sure if it's just extra sewing material but I'm not sure if I can just pull it off (what if I make it worse?). But overall, I really like the vest.

We got this for my wife who is a fan of vests when knocking around the house or on cooler days when walking the dog or being out and about. Overall, it’s been a really nice addition to her collection.She is typically a size 8 and we got the medium which fits just fine. It’s pretty short on the torso, but that’s actually nice, as a long vest can look a bit odd. It is not too fitted, so you could wear a bulk shirt or even a sweatshirt underneath without a problem.The fabric itself has a technical sort of feel to it. It’s soft, but not like a full on fleece vest. It’s a bit more neoprene like in its thickness, but far nicer to touch than that. Overall, it’s the right balance for overcoming a little bit chilly weather.We like the fact that the brand logo is pretty subtle. We don’t really know the Bass Outdoor brand from before, and she’s glad to not look like an advertisement for them.So overall, if you need a basic, not too thick, not too fitted and not too long vest for those times you need to warm up just a tad, this could be great for you — like it is for my wife.

This is a polyester and spandex vest with zippered pockets. The pockets are important to me because many women’s clothes do not have pockets, and these are big enough for my cell phone.When I ordered this, the listing said it was cotton and dry clean only but that was totally inaccurate. This is all synthetic and you can machine wash it in cold water, tumble dry on low. This is a thick Polyester/spandex blend like you often see in outerwear. The outside has a very light sheen, not overly plasticky, and the inside is brushed and feels soft. I am not a fan of polyester because it contributes microplastics to the water downstream and we all know that plastics are bad for marine life. At least this is not something that I will have to wash very often.I got this in dark rose, and don’t worry, it is not so bright that it makes you blink. I ordered it in XL on Amazon’s recommendation, and it fits properly. (Sometimes I get things in a large, but their recommended size was correct.) When zipped, this looks very boxy, but unzipped, it looks more fashionable.Workmanship is good. The tag says Made in Jordan.

This vest feels fairly warm, though how warm is tough to say as it's currently the beginning of summer where I am. It also feels pretty well made. There are 3 external pocks, all with zippers (2 on the side, 1 on the chest).With that, this vest is 100% made of synthetic materials, not 100% cotton as the title says at the time of this review. The shell is your typical technical fabric while the lining is a polyester fleece. I also wouldn't consider this a mid-weight vest as it's pretty light, though it feels like it would be great for a brisk spring or early fall morning/evening.Because of the misleading title and with a price slightly on the high side, I can't give it full marks. But, this is a pretty decent vest. I'll have to see how it fares when the weather gets colder.
