Absolutely love this!! This is my 2nd purchase (i also got the single version) No more yarn vomit ... no more tangling of yarn ... and it even fits a large skein of yarn on it ... it spins smoothly and with no resistance!! What a beautiful piece!! It performs effortlessly! It is heavy enough not to pull over and the gentle spin gives the perfect amount of yarn while crocheting. I love being able to have two colors of yarn working together and it looks so good just sitting out.

I crochet a lot. For years, I've just put the yarn ball on the ground or on the couch next to me and pulled on it when I needed more slack. It became such habit that I didn't think anything of it. But when I wanted to crochet a blanket that required I crochet with two cakes at once, the yarn kept getting tangled and got frustrating pretty quick. Enter this little device. I put both yarn cakes on it and they spun/unraveled so seamlessly. It made crocheting so much easier and now I can't imagine doing a project without it. The only thing I sometimes run into is when I have two thick yarn cakes--like two colors of bernat blanket yarn--they're too thick to be used together. So when I use multiple colors of heavy weight yarn, I just swap cakes on/off the spools and that works well enough. That is still way easier than what I'd been doing for years with the yarn on the couch or floor next to me, so I'm very satisfied with my purchase!

This is a great addition to my crafting collection. I was looking for something that I could move around from room to room, depending on where I wanted to sit, without the need to re-arrange or set up my yarn differently every time. The yarn I am using is a little heavy and they are very large skeins, so sometimes the yarn wraps under the towers, but I have used this with other yarns and it works very well.

I wish I had bought this sooner. It is such a great little tool that makes crocheting and knitting much more seamless and enjoyable. It is very stable and spins smoothly. Feels very high quality. I ended up ordering the single one also because I love this double one so much.

I would. This is perfect. Heavy enough it doesn't get pulled when the yarn has a snag. Each spindle moves freely and quietly. I have a wool genie but always reach for this first. Beautifully finished as well.

I've had this double yarn ball holder in my "saved for later" items ever since my cat broke my ceramic yarn bowl. I kept going back and forth between this item and another bowl (not breakable!).I finally decided on a yarn holder since I'm working on a blanket that changes between two colors without tying off. I read reviews for inexpensive versions, and for expensive ones, and I decided that this was the best deal, although not cheap, because of the reviews.I'm so thankful I didn't go cheap. This Barva double yarn holder is exactly what I needed. I have used it every day since it arrived and I can't tell you enough how pleased I am. No more tugging and yanking on my working yarn every ten stitches, this is so smooth that I don't even notice while working. It's also very stable. I have two 340g balls of yarn on it right now and it works like a dream!Also, it's lovely so the aesthetic as it sits on my coffee table is pleasing :)Don't wait as long as I did to get one. At the very least, get a single holder. I just knew that if I didn't get the double, I'd end up doing so later. Happy crafting!

I absolutely love this new crochet accessory. I’ve been using 2 balls of yarn and neither would pull from the center of the skein and this 2 spindle yarn holder is just perfect. No more fighting with the balls of yarn falling all over, now just a slight tug and I have all I need easy peasy and my yarn stays put and clean. I only wish I had it years ago! Where was technology then. Even when you’re only using one skein…it’s still useful and the other spindle is always there for when you do need it. And if you have 2 crocheters in the family then you could each use one and share. It’s well made and I’ve ordered a zippered case to carry it in. Love Love Love it 😍

This yarn cake holder is perfect for colour work where you have to use two colours or if you’re using hand yarn and you need to alternate between skeins. No more yarn getting twisted together or unravelled. The spindles are taller than most so you use larger yarn balls/skeins. No negative points.

This yarn holder came on time. It was easy to put together and the little silicon feet keep it from moving when on the table. The spindles are long and hold a large ball of yarn. The spindles spin freely. Overall a great product.
