Considering the amount of amps this switch is advertised to handle I was a little nervous as to how well made this switch would be. After unboxing and installing it is apparent this switch is up to the task.

I use this unit to switch between two sources of 120 volts AC in our RV -- shore power and an inverter. It is well built and handles the current fine. The wiring diagram and directions were confusing at best and made it difficult to wire the unit correctly. With some research online I was able to get the job done.

I used this Baomain Rotary Selector Switch to connect NEMA 14-50 outlet for TESLA car for Switch 1 and Air-Conditioner for Switch 2. The source power is 240 volts AC.

We use this for shore/ship power change over switching to 30A per leg. They work fine...but... I have purchased a total of 3, because one came with one dead leg. The big brand switches are superior in feel and sound of the action, but some with the same rating cost as much as 4 times more. Considering in our application these switches may be cycled
