I bought this to have a switch for supplying power to my motorhome between the generator and my 3000 watt inverter. Here is the problem... the housing is VERY, VERY tight to include all of the 12 gauge wire (barely suitable for 25 amps) coming in and out and providing switch over wiring.

It’s super hard to find a decent 25 amp switch on Amazon. This one is okay but doesn’t feel truly water proof so I decided to put it in a box just to be sure. For the price, I’d like a little more gaskets with it.

I have an old shaper that came with reversible tooling. Yet it doesn't have a switch to change directions. To do it you need to pull the cover off of the motor and swap a few wires around. With this switch I was able to mount it onto the box that holds the push button to turn it on. Because the shaper has a magnetic contactor if someone rotates the switch while the shaper motor is running the contactor will shut off so no damage will be done.The switch is smooth. I've gotten some Chinese switches in the past that feel clunky or just rough. The box is big enough for larger gauge wiring typically found on 5hp tools (up to 10 gauge). The box can be mounted to another box or it can be mounted to a surface.
