I retrofitted an old air filter with ION discharger. I needed to have 3 fan levels and this switch did the trick. Unfortunatly, there is no COMMON power in so I needed to jumper the power to all three inputs for each fan speed.For the ION dispersion, I also needed to jumper the power from the fan side to the other set of inputs then wire the three outputs to the ION switch.So with this 3 speed selector switch I was able to hook up a 3 speed fan AND wire in a switch to power the ION discharger. I used a separate toggle switch for the ION thing so there was no chance of the super high voltage ION dispersion thing running while the fan was off.Switch seems solid and well built. If the retrofitted air filter ever quits (probably will live forever now that the electronics have been bypassed), I will remove and retain this selector switch as it looks like it'll last forever.

This switch was far better quality for our evap cooler than the one that came on the unit that came apart. Checked on ordering one from unit manufacturer and they wanted almost $150 for a replacement. This one was less than $40.00

The included diagram isnt great but with a meter you can figure it out. additionally the label is cheap but works.

I retrofitted an old drill press with a 3 speed furnace motor. This switch works excellent for the retrofit & is a great upgrade to the old drill press.

When you get the product, it's nice. It works. The problem is getting the right product. I ordered this the first time and received what I ordered.This is a 4 position (0,1,2,3)/12 Terminal (LW28-20/0123.3 660V 20A - $10.49). Key points: 4 positions / 12 terminals.Upon a second order, received a 3 position/12 terminal ($15.89 ).That wouldn't do, so I returned and re-ordered and received a 4 position/8 terminal ($8.29 ).I have also recommended the desired switch to a friend, but now, I don't know if I should have.When you get the right product, it works. I would just be a little leery about getting the right product. I will say that with the latest wrong shipment, the box accurately said what was inside. It just wasn't what I ordered. And Amazon, says that I ordered the last one that I received 3 times. That is not true because they are 3 different products. I only received it once.

This is a perfect switch for my fan project since it had four positions I used it for off, low, medium and high for the fan speed works great looks nice.

I used this for a light duty truck where it needed 3 selectable switches for different functions. Once I mapped the switch it was easy to install. If you don’t have a multi metre I would recommend as there are no wiring diagrams sent with the product. That’s the only reason for 4 stars. Has been working great since install.

I purchased this switch for use on a 1 HP, 3 spd blower motor that I'm planning to use on a special grinder/sander. The switch looks good & I just used it to power the motor and it works perfectly. The detents have a nice 'feel' as you move thru the 4 positions. You'll need to pay attention to the switch wiring diagram that's part of the switch description on the Amazon page. I didn't get a data sheet w/ the switch. I would buy this switch again.
