Love these and comforting to know I'm not putting plastic in my mouth. Great feel, hygienic. My teeth and gums are grateful!

I received the N-amboo Bamboo/Boar Bristle Toothbrushes and love them! I wanted so badly to get away from as much plastic as I can. I bought another bamboo brand and was disappointed to learn that I didn't fully read what I was buying (completely my error) and only the handle was natural (bamboo), the bristles were still nylon/plastic! UGH! My search continued and I found these and really like that they are 100% natural - made of boar bristles and bamboo and are 100% biodegradable. For the comments that complain about the bristles coming lose, I haven't experienced that yet. You also have to let the strength of the bristles do the work for you - no need to press to get your teeth clean (this isn't good for your gums either)! Maybe this was lending itself to the bristle loss issue for some? You're getting 8 natural toothbrushes for a cost that's less than $2.00 per brush. The handle has a smooth, comfortable feel in the hand and the size and shape of the head isn't too bulky in a smaller mouth. The bristles are "medium" grade firmness, so firm enough to get the job done, but not too firm where it would be troublesome to your gums/enamel - just remember - let the brush do the work, don't press. I'm very happy with this product!

If you’re looking for an alternative to plastic handled, nylon bristle toothbrushes these are a great choice. Nice quality bamboo handles. The boar hair bristles clean teeth well and are not overly abrasive to the gums. Some of the bristles do come out during the first few uses and towards the end of the toothbrush’s life, but that’s as expected. Overall a great choice if you’re trying to reduce your expose to plastic chemicals.

I really like these tooth brushes. Yes, bristles will fall out from time to time, particularly in the beginning, but just spit them out when you spit out from brushing, no big deal. Otherwise the bristles/ brushes are great, and I love using them to brush my teeth. Wouldn’t want to use anything else. So happy not using plastic anymore, this is the way to go.

Yep, at least 1 or 2 bristles come out with each brushing. And, the annoying thing is that, for me, the loose bristle gets lost in the back of my throat for a while and the only way to dislodge it is to eat something and hope that the food catches it and all goes down the hatch. That's a bad feeling. So I guess it's back to using the standard plastic tooth brushes.

I ordered these as a microplastic free alternative to my Sonicare toothbrush and was pretty sure they would be sketchy quality or that I would miss the higher tech electric cleaning. Was pleasantly surprised on both counts. Have had no problems with loose bristles and I actually think they clean better than the nylon ones (even without the sonic oscillation). The handle is flat and could be a bit more ergonomic, but other than that I have no complaints and will continue to buy these confident that I'm eating less dangerous micro and nano plastic. I make sure to rinse them really well and shake out any water so they dry fully between uses or hit them with a few seconds on my hair dryer.
