The smaller set of 22mm sleeves (marked "S01") fit the tongue of my old Avenir cargo trailer, which has a matching 22mm inner diameter. I didn't end up using the O-rings, as they wouldn't fit, but the sleeves stayed in place just fine without. Note that there's no nut and bolt provided to fix the hitch to the trailer, you'll have to re-use the original.Attaching the receiver to the bike is pretty simple. It's very sturdy-feeling, but also heavy. If you're pulling a trailer, you probably won't mind the extra bit of weight, though.Attaching the trailer is fairly simple, although you may need to have the tongue at an angle to the bicycle for it to slide in. The ball and socket move quite easily, and also don't rattle very much. Overall, it's a pretty good arrangement as it allows the trailer to move in any direction, helpful when leaning in a corner or going over bumps. It's overall a very good upgrade, and with the sleeve system should fit a very wide variety of trailers.

my original hitch wore out and had a crack on the side. the metal silver joint connects to your rear wheel. its a standard fit. then you slip in the black ball and to prevent it from slipping out you put the pin thru with retaining bracket. the ball joint allows the trailer to pivot and move when I steer the bike. it also has a safety strap in case breaks or comes off.looks like quality material. the black ball joint feels like hard ABS plastic. I'm not sure if it has metal inside but it's feels like plastic outside. I wish they made that piece also out of metal. then you would feel even more solid. great replacement tho.
