this worked for pre-bug and post-bug bites. I thought it was for post-bug bites not pre-application before you go out. so this is a win win. very easy to just put in a small pocket and go.As I said I thought it was for post-bug bites, so I used it on my mosquito bites that were itching and driving me crazy, they did help with the itch which helped me sleep and ignore the bite.

I was really hoping this would work but I’ve never been bitten and stung so badly my entire life. I have about 10-12 of these bites across my entire body.I am editing my review due to the wonderful customer service.

Coming from a person who was mailed by no serums in key west to the point I needed to go to the hospital and was mortified to ever visit the keys again, this stuff worked!!!! In addition to using this I also avoided booking a place that had sand in the backyard, brought a long sleeve and long pants with AT ALL TIMES, but I actually didn’t need to use them - this stuff worked!!! No seums actually stay away!!! I was had a terrible run in with them in the keys and Bahamas - I then used precaution and this stuff and visited the British Virgin Islands and Marathon (in the keys) and didn’t encounter the same issue!!! I will buy this for eternity now. BEE WARE: bees love the smell of this so they will seek you out

I’m allergic to actual bug spray and always have been. I usually use nothing, but when working a wedding in June in the south, by the water, next to a wooded area…I knew I had to have some sort of bug repellent. I ordered this, knowing how much I’ve always loved Badger’s products. I put some behind my ears, inside my wrists, and around my ankles….it worked! Came home with zero bug bites after a long day outside! Smell is fine! Smells like a citronella candle, which I don’t mind. It absorbs into the skin so you can always reapply if necessary. I only reapplied once for a whole day. I also used this on my toddlers when they went out on the golf course one evening to chip and putt…again, it worked! I’ll be keeping one in my purse and one in the diaper bag from now on! I highly recommend this product!

This is a great product. It is effective and smells great. I stick it in my kid’s backpack, so he can self apply.

How I use it: I rub a little on my wrists, ankle, and neck.I was in an area where mosquitos were around but I didn’t get bit. It smells like essential oils / icy hot- the smell is noticeable but not overwhelming. It doesn’t leave a sticky residue or feel heavy on the skin. Kinda feels like a stick sunblock?I actually really liked this product and bought one for my parents. They ended up asking for a second order!!
