Bought this for peace of mind at home after our son was hospitalized for respiratory failure. Mine was missing the ankle strap for use on an infant, so that made it challenging to get a reading. This thing also uses 2 AA batteries, not AAA like it says, and the ones that were included were all but dead. There’s lots of beeping when trying to get a reading and no way to mute that I’ve found, along with something spoken in Chinese. The instruction manual that was included was conveniently blank on the page for how to actually use the dang thing. Took forever to get an SPO2 reading on our infant, but seems to work otherwise.

They are dependent and battery powered so that power outages are not an issue. This makes it easy to achieve uninterrupted monitoring
