These scissors have a cute design. I ordered the green colour but it looks more like blue or teal. It comes with a case and cover.The blade is ceramic so it will not rust and ceramic is supposedly harder than stainless steel. There is some conflicting information on the product page indicating that the blade material is stainless steel but it is not.These scissors do feel safer than stainless steel scissors. One reason being that there seems to be more resistance when using it. The blade doesn’t feel as sharp as metal. It does have sharp edges at the tip, so one still has to be careful when using it.The scissors are effective at cutting food, however, they do not cut food as easily as stainless steel especially something harder. For baby food, this shouldn’t be a problem but likely, you are going to want to use these scissors a few years after your child starts solid foods.Overall, these ceramic scissors are effective at cutting food but are not as sharp as stainless steel scissors.

It's very good looking and easy to use, easy to clean ceramic scissors. The blade is sharp too, very easy to cut steamed solid food and also other baby stuff!

Bought this scissors as soon as my baby started eating and have been using it ever since! (He’s now 4 YO). It’s durable, stays sharp for years, and compact enough to bring around.

I highly recommend these scissors. It is super affordable. It cuts well and it's ceramic, so it's less likely to injure the baby. It cuts food but not the baby's finger. Of course, you still don't want to let your baby play with it. But you can teach our toddler how to safely cut things. It's easy to use and easy to clean. Comes in a travel box, so we take it everywhere with us.
