I have never mashed an avocado with mine, but I use it frequently for mashing beans like pinto beans, and other ingredients for soups. It's very well designed and well made.

I got this masher as a friend has a full size one and it is the best masher I’ve ever used! Sadly, I could not find a full size one anywhere. The “Avocado” masher is just a smaller version. It is perfect for a small amount of potatoes for one or two people or anything you want a nice mash for, to be fair. I can’t see myself using it for avocado though, I just use a fork, but it’s sturdy, and with a good grip handle, it makes mashing a breeze. For small amounts, I’d definitely recommend this! If you can find the full size version that may make an appearance again in the future, I’d recommend that too for a family. Lovely.

Awesome masher! Works quick and easy to remove food off. I mainly use this for avocado but also works on boiled eggs for egg salad. Very sturdy. Love it!!

I don’t know where this had been all my life but I’m glad I finally found it! Making guacamole and avocado toast is even easier and perfection now! My teeny something daughter loves this tool too. She said the same thing, “where’s this been all my life?!” It makes dealing with sometimes borderline not quite ripe enough avocados easy to mix up. It’s just the best tool for avocados! Price is great and shipping is super quick!

Thought I'd found a great masher and it is a pretty fine one - perfect size, easy to use, good job of mashing the avocados. But I personally do not like that it is difficult to get the last bits of avocado off the masher when you are done. The plastic around the bottom is so thick that it makes it quite a tedious process to scrape out the avocado that remains on the blade and sides. Not the end of the world but certainly not what I was hoping for. I do like the plastic around the outside edge as it works well working down the edges of the bowl. But it's so think on the inside it's difficult to get any kind of utensil in and around the posts. It's just OK but I find it hard to recommend it.

We eat lots of avocados in our home. Lots of them. My wife has an obsession with guacamole so I got this for her as a small gesture. She can’t stop using it. The device is reasonably priced but now I find myself just buying more avocados. At least the fats are healthy. Great product.
