I'm not sure if millers is the right word, but these helped me fix a couple of items that Amazon sent me that were not as described. I bought two quick release mechanisms, for cameras, that were not like the pictures, but they were cheap enough, and actually good enough overall, that I thought I'd try to make them right.These cutters worked out great where a regular drill bit would not have worked. Now I have some cheap quick releases that work really well, and it was easy enough to do. For about $7 I took two pieces of metal that wouldn't work and turned them into very nice parts that I was having a hard time finding.

With 43 years of milling experience behind me I would recommend these. Used properly they have worked as they should and the price is good. I have used the 1/4 and 3/16 most on an old drill press with an import cross slide that is anything but tight or accurate and they held up very well. Keep the speed and feed down and make light cuts and you will be ok.

3/16, 4 flute, self drilling. fine print markings, it would be nice if the markings on the shank were bigger.

the L.O.C. is closer to 5/8". I was looking for 3/4" which this was spec'd at 4/5 or .8".I can't use them for what I wanted.
