It fit perfectly but what sucks after 3 years the tape failed and the wind flapped it and snapped it! Got to buy a new one but otherwise it was great

Fits good goes on easy. The low profile look isbetter than the bug shields that are raised off the hood. You need to fit it and mark center on shield and hood so when you stick it down it comes out even on both sides. Looks great on my truck.

If you buy hood deflector’s you know they always stick up which is irritating when you have to clean snow off of them that’s when they break this one lays flat you could barely see it it works fine also protects the hood from rusting up Be sure to check your Fitbit I have purchased a lot of these throughout my years mainly for GMC sierra and Chevy Silverado they all have different hoods be aware of this make sure you do your research make sure you check your lines before applying afterwards you will be happy be sure to give the company a good review they are not a big company very time In my opinion I love their product and I will keep shopping off them as long as I drive a pick up truck usually switch every year two of them

The design is a little finicky to install. Not as easy as a screw in model. But less likely to break like a screw on if it catches anything. The design keeps it tight to the hood. And looks good installed.Update 6/4/19 the corners L&R both lifted separating from the adhesive. The right side caught enough wind to break. I had followed all instructions to a "T" pissed off!

I probably would have done at least 4 if not 5 stars but you need to be extremely careful when removing this from the box. When I pulled it out of the box, the shield flexed enough to crack in the center. I still installed it figuring that since it was my fault. I DID NOT contact the manufacturer/vendor. I'll own up to it. Installation was fairly simple even though I had two pieces that were still connected together by the tape. We will see how long it lasts. The crack is fairly noticeable even after the installation - not quite an 1/8". Live and learn I guess. I have owned other Lund products in the past and have always been pleased with the durability. Auto Vent Shade (AVS) appears to be a division of Lund International, hence is why I purchased this item and I like the "on the hood" design.

First one came in cracked. Amazon shipped a replacement immediately. It's just held on with red 3m tape, but I don't see it coming off anytime soon. Fits the contours of my 2012 GMC 2500HD perfectly.
