the description states it is for 'every recorder'. not true. this pops off my alto recorder after about 2 minutes play time. find something else.

My old thumb rest snapped, so I ordered this one. It stays in place, but fits a bit loose on my recorder. After I use it for while, my thumb slides it up instead of staying in place. It works for now and I hope it doesn't loosen more.

These should come standard on all recorders. A bit pricey but I'll still give it 5 stars as it's pretty much a necessity.

Works great for a soprano recorder (the little one.) It absolutely will NOT fit an alto or tenor. If you need one for a tenor recorder, go to aulos music store online and specify/verify the size before purchase.
