Me ha encantado la flauta tenor. Tiene un sonido grave precioso. Tiene mucha calidad tanto en sonido como en estética.Para mi es mas facil esta digitacion que la alemana que trae la flauta soprano,aun con la flauta tenor hay que tener mas control que con la flauta soprano.

A very good instrument . Well made for a plastic version.In the scale af C major the F is slightly lower than the natural pitch.

I wanted an inexpensive tenor for ensemble practice and one-to-a-part sessions as a backup to my main tenor, an Aura Conservatorium in grenadilla wood. I have been using an Aulos 211 plastic model for many years for this, but as newer music for recorder often means the appearance of a low C#, rarely present in earlier music, the Aulos has been less suited for this as it has no split key. I chose the Yamaha 304 after hearing it played by fellow players.I have not been disappointed. It has proved more effective and musical than I'd expected. It is light enough to be easy to hold for long periods, but with enough heft not to feel flimsy. The sound is somewhat richer and more sonorous than the Aulos, and though it does not quite match my Aura tenor in roundness of sound, it is less than a tenth of the price, and holds its own in ensemble and consort playing. Notes in the low octave speak easily, and intonation is good throughout the range, with an initial tendency to flatness, until a good playing temperature has been reached.Moisture is an occasional problem, but no more so than with a dense wood recorder.In summary, a fine and capable recorder at an affordable price, and a match for good wood recorders several times the price. Recommended.

Totally wasted my money on this because I want to go to music school and recorder isn’t a musical instrument for that but it is a fantastic recorder and I love it to death. I have a soprano but I LOVE the sound of the tenor more. I will say I play my flute more though now that I’m trying to get into music school

What the reviews say about the difficulty in playing the bottom note is all very true. Other than that it has been a nice instrument. The upper octave is very easily sounded.

Tenorblockflöten aus Holz haben einen Preis, der bei vielen Benutzern nicht in vernünftiger Relation zu ihrer Einsatzmöglichkeit besteht. Meist wird sie als Füllinstrument für das mehrstimmige Ensemble genutzt.In dem Bestreben, die Sopran-Blockflöte konzertant vor überwiegend alten Menschen erklingen zu lassen, ergibt sich auf Grund der schwindenden Hörfähigkeit der oberen Frequenzen ein unangenehm grelles Tonerlebnis. Daher ist der Einsatz des Acht-Fuß-Instrumentes der menschlichen Stimme der Mittelllage am nächsten.Eine Tenorblockflöte erlaubt eine m. E. weit differenzierte Tongestaltung als der enger wirkende Sopranklang im Vier-Fuß-Bereich, so dass sich die Hörtoleranz schneller abbaut als beim Tenorklang. Hier gestaltet der Atem und der Tonansatz eine Nähe, die sich angenehm auf den Hörer übertragen dürfte.Will man sich von den Kosten nicht erdrücken lassen, bietet Yamaha mit seinem Kunststoff-Flötenprogramm eine seit Jahren positiv erfahrbare Alternative zu den Holzflöten, weil bei ihnen manche Fabrikate leicht durch die Atemfeuchtigkeit heiser werden und die Tonbildung unsicher bis fast unmöglich erscheint. Manche Fabrikate haben zudem mit der Doppelklappe (barocke Griffweise) Geräuschprobleme. Die Yamaha-Flöte ist preiswert, klangstabil, satt in der Fülle und anblasstabil im oberen Register. Man kann mit ihr aus der Nische des Gelegentlichen auf eine Solo-Funktion zugehen, ohne zu früh aufgeben zu müssen. Im Wechsel mit einer Altblockflöte dürfte der musikalische Einsatz die Zuhörer wohl nicht enttäuschen. Die Klappentechnik liegt gut in der Hand, das Gewicht überrascht, die Griffsicherheit ermüdet auch nicht zu rasch, man darf sich auf den effektvollen Einsatz als Stütze im Begleitsatz eines Chores oder als Solo-Instrument für Spielstücke mit der Begleitung eines Generalbass-Instrumentes freuen.
